"If the UK government was serious about supporting UK businesses and startups...."
Oh Mr. Potnak you are a caution-'aven't laughed so much for a very long time!!
The Drones who inhabit that House of Shame on the Thames just spout rhetoric about the subject-in reality they don't give a Donald.
Aber.
"....sticking my neck out I think they are looking at a T/O at a reduced rate where they move with the purchasing company.."
My thoughts entirely-save their own skins, especially Parker, and to hell with the shareholders of whatever ilk.
If offered a quid a share they would grab it so quickly the offeror would lose several fingers.
..... for about 6 years but refusing to breach the 500 point. Perhaps cooling down ahead of the long weekend however but with 8 trading days before ex-div maybe we might just crack it!!
Any thoughts on how much the SP may fall on ED Day??
GLA
Thanks Potnak- points well taken.
However I was unaware of the terminology and surely it behoves our CEO to report progress or otherwise to shareholders in understandable layman's language rather than dressing it up in technical jargon which, in my case and probably many others, led to a misunderstanding?
....this might be what is driving it today with folk taking a punt and saying it's only a few £hundred/thousand that won't hurt if it goes down and a NLE if it doesn't
"....Board of Directors remains confident that the Company is on course to deliver topline Phase 1a results in Q2 2024."
Hardly a comment that would be made lightly albeit with the caveat about obtaining funding
Once again emails sent to IR are being bounced. Has she been sacked to save money 'cos she sure as hell wasn't doing much.
'Phone goes through to voice message but messages left not responded. Parker and Co. need to come out now and tell us all what the Donald they are up to but perhaps they are too busy organising cosy personal exit strategies with one of the big pharmas?
Cynical?
Just a tad-I do not trust them one iota any more
480p is proving something of a resistance point after a brief visit to 485 with 15 more business days still to go before ex-div.
However as we have not been at this level since June 2018 possibly too much to expect any further significant increase.
Spot on Glen.
Methinks they are in the back yard at Pampisford, heads in the sand hoping it will go away.
Seriously I can not for the life of me see 2 scientists throw away 15 years of work for the sake of a few quid, the volume of which pales into insignificance when compared with the close to £13million they have gone through in the last 9 years.
This is not a ramp merely an expression of opinion. Now is the time for Parker to start earning the obscene £92kpa he is paid for 3 days a week by tapping into his City contacts that is if he ever had any. Glittering CV's are one thing: actual tangible achievements are another.
..... a small ray of sunshine seems to be the fact that Buys now outstrip Sells when earlier on today they were lagging far behind.
Are these buyers not reading all that has transpired or just taking a punt and not bothered if they lose it 'cos the cash figures involved are not really earth shattering?
By the way Andy count me in as well.
"Management" ha ha. I take it you were using the term loosely Laz?
Just had a quick look-these jokers have lost nearly £13m in the last 9 years so to see us where we are now is shameful, but folk are still buying in this morning.
Surely the Company must have some valuable intellectual property even if limited to the progress being made down under, (or so we are told-can we believe anything this BoD says any more) which must be worth something.
My fear is the BoD will sell out to the only bidder that comes along, offer their services and bugger off into the sunset to continue being paid ( you will note I said "being paid" not "earning") their chunky salaries. Rest assured Tweety Parker has an exit strategy planned, probably has had for a long time. What a waste of space he has been.
