This price was/is so artificially devalued, it should be at 30p-ish now, so lets see what happens. I sold half my holding at 172p and now waiting, the potential of this company now is so exceptional IMO
Yes looks like Mopane area is a proper Elephant, could be a worlds largest some say! If it is on trend with 3B/4B then its more than a company maker for us, not sure what word or description you would use?
drilled circa 4 wells in Hammerhead so in my view there must of been a discovery of some kind and Hammerhead was on the short list for FPSO but was relegated I think due to other discoveries.
Exxon have not disclosed and data on the Hammerhead project (I think), however the Hess CEO did mention the Oil may be heavy in a meeting but that's not not all bad news. That said they did invest to drill multi-holes (appraisal)?
So I share a hope that cross production could be achieved commercially. And I ask what would that do for ECO valuation?
Regarding recent media, it appears that Gill is focusing on Orinduik a little more than Orange basin. Maybe the the deal that's been promised is gone or to be renegotiated. Defo a waiting game hey.
RE: Bids submitted for Guyana licences22 Sep 2023 10:29
Be interesting to see the successful bid amount. Was our 700K a good deal? Almost certainly. Guess the shallow block will be bidder by non-super major (see Trove piece on the Tube).
As said before am a bit negative if drilling will take place in 24. However the bids for Guyana could be part of Gil's strategy. And also KH leaving Africa oil and their share holding could be relevant, don't ask me why.
With reference to IJWT post I cannot totally disagree with that. And Hammerhead! Will it be developed?? I guess uplift costs will reduce as time goes on. Maybe we need to give it 5 years or so to be fair.
