The key is are they in a sidetrack right now (or ended one)? Wouldn't have started if the vertical results were sketchy. I think.

Yes interesting. Eco's start of operations RNS not the regular M.O, others albeit only 2have been spud. This has given some cover to drill the sidetrack maybe.

Hope we get through tomorrow RNS free.

Agree Soder; The Rig would have been long gone by now. Don't want to talk it up too much but a discovery could be maybe a baby Elephant, might need a North drill for the full size adult.

The start of operations RNS (not spud) was a tactic due to the strategy of the drill plan.
So have they or what, started their axial vector?

It was always going to be interested how they communicate reportable news.
If we report at TD (vertical) then if successful we get a market reaction and on to the sidetrack.
If we don't report and carry on operations then there may come a point when a discovery will start to be priced in?
The Rig is still there and I don't think they could risk the Rig to move without a RNS.
So for me Mon/Tues will be interesting. If no news for another week or so then blimey all bets are off.

Think they mix the cement onboard with fixed equipment on the rig. They always planned to plug / cap the well below the seabed so all that equipment would already be on the boat, now the sidetrack packers and casing etc may have been stored on the beach.
So I would not read too much into boat operation around the Rig, however the runs to the beach could mean something.

Anyway it certainly going to be communicated soon hey.

If they decide to sidetrack I doubt very much there will be any delay in drilling, the rig day rate is a fair bit so drill results then sidetrack. I could be wrong some seem to think there will be a 7 day plus delay but I can't see that.

300 - 500mmbbls recoverable is a conservative estimate according to some Government officials I heard.
