I’m sure You were an out and out agnostic regarding shareholder value, but that you now believe there is the possibility of an upward price move? Or is that just for trading opportunities? Not wishing to offend as we need all the “anti-group think” we can get.

Currently the majority on this board would seem to believe this is going to zero as I believe you yourself have said?

Good points made. The most important to my mind is to bring shareholder representation to the court. (As has happened in previous c11 cases) Then other points could be raised more readily and directly to Judge Marvin and would also be reflected in further media coverage.

May the shorts be denied their cynical desires. May the judge force the adhoc committee to come to their senses? Maybe, just maybe, the share price will reflect the true value of the existing company. Eg; 30-60p.

Looking forward to seeing some real, audited numbers in September. Surprising that we still haven’t received anudited accounts H2 2022!

Perhaps I’m being pedantic but if you are referring to this statement:

That doesn’t seem all that clear to me. Why not state “will be passed” as opposed to the subjunctive, as it were?

Hello Bond Investments. There are eight pages in the supplementary circular of May12 . Could you quote the relevant passage/page# that leads you to believe they have received the percentage of votes in favor of carrying the motion?

All I can find is that the directors themselves are voting in favor but that they only have 0.19% of shares, a far cry from the required 75.1%.

World-class assets such as these don’t come along very often. AA certainly think so and have specifically mentioned ARCM in media coverage, and are providing an 80M facility for a percentage of whatever turns up (Lol, I’m sure they’ve a decent knowledge of the zone). I make a habit of finding explorers that might have a huge, HUGE upside and going overweight.
Then I start telling everyone how worthless they are. I can’t think of anything better to do with my money. You see, I’m trying to get rid of it. And hopefully take a few coins from others who believe a word I’ve written.

We all understand the art of deal-making. The debtors/1st liens are, of course, hoping to leave the judge (and disgruntled parties) with no room by adding what is imv a threat to shut down the company, thus giving the judge a backstop for approval and hoping for an immediate favourable binary decision to approve their current terms. There aren’t any ‘facts’ at this stage that anyone can draw upon to argue one way or other. It’s hard-ball power-bargaining being employed here by highly paid lawyers.

There are plenty of ways for Cineworld to come out of c11 and surviving to move forwards and reap the rewards of the new booming upcycle without resorting to c7. Do you really think they would do that? Crush a highly prospective future?

Compromises: The judge in my view is very likely to address the need for fair compensation and the various parties will have to go away and return with something more accountable to all stakeholders, is my view, and so I remain hopeful.

Then there will be a (slight) softening of the Protagonists’ position that still gives them, the deal they were after all along, (they hope) which may include a couple of compensatory chips for all in the queue, yes, even shareholders which could be worth double digits. Ie:10p, perhaps more. There could be a few rounds on this.

Further Extension is a real possibility.
