I suspect some traders are hedging, holding some money back just in case of disappointment/delay, in the hope of buying more if any fall in price results. Half in, half out or some other % ratio. Also, other highly volatile shares around at the mo. Hard to resist.
Will prob just buy more with fresh ISA cash if further delayed depending on reasons. Either way, there will be an RNS come Friday. I don’t think there will be any prior action.

Beneath all the daily noise, the deal remains 95% done imo v 5% Admin/cadastre delay, maybe. Then news to come re: drills?

You are the judge. In front of you are two unlikely bedfellows agreeing to take a company away from the public and work up a nice little private business behind closed doors. Do not release audited accounts, do not release any info or potential sale and value of large asset (RoW) beyond lowball until RSA signed off. Good asset with healthy income ahead.

Get those pesky shareholders off their backs. Do not volunteer any info and print poor projections. Asset Sales promotions firmly under control, now extinguished.
Job well done! Now the final offensive with huge warnings to shareholders to stay out of it. .
What’s a judge to do? What real value can HE now give to the company? Should the shareholders be compensated? How can he help ensure the business survives and that a sense of fairness results (but based on the heavily manipulated information available).

To add, mergers, sales, ipos, full-takeovers lenders will be rubbing their hands and licking their lips for good returns if they wrest control, through such ventures. Plenty of time for that to happen before, during a suspension, or indeed, after. But not necessarily in that order, lol.

Absolutely not. Infact I fully expect this share to be suspended at some point, regulatory reasons, or the anticipation of significant news.

But this would not be a bad thing. Your money is trapped for a period (and you would generally be notified of an estimated period by RNS), but when the reason for the suspension is rectified the suspension will be lifted the share becomes tradeworthy often at an entirely different price depending upon the issue.

Example;

- Delayed financial report beyond the allowed time period. We still await H2 2022, so lookout for that one.
- Merger or aquistion on the horizon, announcement forthcoming.
- suspicion of insider trading or forms of hostile predatory behaviour/takeover.

Not wishing to promote but, recently ARB came out of a Christmas suspension 200% jump up followed by a fair bit of ‘staging’. But nows up 500/600%. Could go a lot further depending on a whole number of other possibles esp. the size of the crypto (read Box office) market.

Delisting is a final.

Not correct. I have also been at pains to give a far more general overview of the cyclical future health of the industry and the many implications for the exhibitors, inc. CW. of vertical integration, of revaluation, late bidding interest etc. we will wait and see.

Your “treasure trove” of info has to be treated with some circumspection in my view. A lot of legalistic detail and sophistry. I’m not a lawyer and neither (I’m guessing, correct me if I’m wrong) are you. I have studied law surreptitiously (wrote my late wife’s essays on legal jurisprudence - (high marks received)) but in no way would I profess to interpret some of the details in the proposal, it’s an interesting learning curve. But I don’t believe this case will be decided on t’s and i’s YET. Broader principles are at stake at this stage.

Yes, taken as a given in c11, that 1st lien creditors will be in favour and unsecured lenders will be against. Then there is a ‘sympathetic’ judge and also the potential for sh representation.

@Hexam, what I find astounding is that you claim to be uninvested yet constantly impose a view that, shall we say, supports a particular faction here. A more rational view, given what little we know about so much, regarding the situation, is that there is every chance of alternatives having a reasonable probabilistic chance. To that extend we are all making assessments and taking positions, including you.

More speculation. You have no more certainty than those here with open views.
It’s impossible to place a probability on the bet. Therefore it remains 50/50. Which is a gamble not to be taken lightly.
