Wow, ShakyDoggie, all your posts make you sound like an arxe geyser, spraying foul mayhem everwhere. One reference in the whole article, that to Burberry and Ubisoft, now so historical it's part of the dust bowl. That to me equals zilch info from a recently promoted COO, IR expert, research analysist, etc etc.

This is just PR bog paper, bit of gumff about the industry in general with her name copy/pasted at the bottom. The sort of nonsense a trainee block head churns out, why's a COO doing it? Nothing about Bids, zilch. Oh and shouldn't Jimmy Drip be releasing some exciting news today, he normally likes to do it over a holiday period?

I said respect to the messenger, nothing to do with his age etc. My point was about presentation; Turborilla had the CMO make their announcement (that's Chief Marketing Officer to you two doggies), Bids used a coordinator, hardly good PR packaging. These things matter. So what level of imporatnce, 1-10, are you two "know alls" attaching to the announcement? :-) :-)

My first thought was to agree, good news. Then I looked at who put it out, an account coordinator two years out of university, hardly big cheese. He went to Sheffield University, my old uni, so respect. But Bids obviously don't think it's worth much, otherwise they'd have put a bit of PR packaging behind it. Sounds good, but.... Confused once again.

Does anyone know Bids street address? What about we go and sit in their reception until we get some informative answers? A little school kid has shown what is possible. Forget the climate for the moment, what about direct action in our own self interest? One thing Bids and Stifel must fear is negative publicity outside their bubble, some newspapers will be interested. Does the idea have benefits, what do people think?

Is there a developer/techie/finance person out there who knows the tech costs of putting ads into a new game? Looking at last year it must be very high, almost all revenue was eaten up with costs? To motor, Bids needs a library of games to promote, which means high costs before any cross over point where revenue exceeds costs, is this correct? So funding for next 1-3 years before there's any decent excess revenue? If, correct I'm thinking doodoo. Please tell me not correct, factual, answers only please.

Has anyone actually seen the Stifel note or can access a copy? Why would Katherine Hays join a shower of sxxt? Being a LTH I'm very fed up but I also have a nagging feeling that something good is happening, not sure what. not sure when, but... :-) :-)

I find your posts very difficult to understand, are you a bot and your wiring has gone haywire? I'm not IT but have you tried booting yourself? Or is it just me, what do I know? :-) :-)

I am as well and the difference between the two companies is amazing, Gfin professional, Bids chaotic with a naff driver at the wheel. If concept proven and tested, and advertisers want to advertise, why so little revenue? What are all these posh sounding business cards doing, long lunches went out of fashion with Covid. I'm quite frankly mystefied, such high costs, so little revenue. Wadda I know.

It gets worse, Lisa Hau is "a qualified Chartered Accountant". Jeez no disrespect, but what do accountants know about investor relations, apart from complaining about long lunches and people's expenses? COO role maybe, IR definitely no.

Doesn't WPP have a JV with another gaming advertising platform? Perhaps Lisa Hau is actually a secret research mole feeding Bids info back to WPP? Must have a chat with my mate John le Carre about this, he knows about these things.

Glen Calvert, not sure, seems to look ok but what's he going to do for Bids? We seem to like collecting NODS and NADS and good sounding business cards, but what have they produced so far, in cold, hard shillings.... We need less pretty packaging and more solid product
