Definitely annoying even excruciating that Fever is not still growing every day but I like his conclusion that the current price is a realistic buy-in point and that it is time to be patient.

That update is set for Thursday, January 23 and presumably covers the whole Christmas period.
It should be very telling in every sense. And presumably it could spark action over the next 3 weeks.
It is followed by the Premins on the year on March 24 but we have to hope to see a better price long before that.

So Johnson wins and all the domestic shares I follow are up 6% or 8% but Fever barely moving at all.
Surprising because all those people who are pumping up IAG and JD Sports and similar are going to be drinking a G&T or two.
So still hoping for a significant move later today.

Last week you called for 2300 plus and 10 minutes later you were calling for 2100.

Sorry to have to ask a question but I am certain I saw that the company's scheduled trading Update was January 6th. Yet now I can not find any hint of such a date, even on their company site. I know they did a surprise update a few weeks ago but is there an official one coming up? Thanks.

Last we hit 19 and I posted that I was happy but that this was only back to where it has been a week earlier and I expected to see 21 soon, with 24 on the way.
Now we are at 22 - up 15% on the past few weeks - which is wonderful and can seem dangerously "high" but still it is only back to where we were a month ago when this same price seemed "low" to me and I bought a large tranche.
So I have to hold my nerve and continue to believe this should really be at 24 at least = up 10%.
At least, I say, because with Christmas coming and US booming and the update set for January, there should be a lot of pressure on this to power higher.

An exciting morning for sure. Big relief.
Still we are only back to where we were a month, 2000, which seemed awfully low at that time.
Still down more than 10% on the price 3 months ago, which also seemed low to me at the time.
So what next? I see a minimum of 21, with a good chance of 24 over the next month or so.
And if the economic globally ever improve, we are heading back towards 30.
So this is not the time to bail me thinks.

Like many people probably, I spent last Friday trying to work out whether to buy or sell depending on whether I thought Johnson's deal would pass or not. In the end I didn't sell anything but I held off buying. So I am debating again because, even though something happened on Saturday, we are not sure what it was - or what impact it will have. I could see a rise coming for IAG but think it might yet go below £5 at least to start. Tough call.
