Cineworld Group PLC GM re long-term incentive plan
Thanks for these two answers. Sorry I missed yours LTHcine as I did look.
I ask partly because, for instance, Odeon just wrote me to tell me which cinemas they are re-opening on December 4 in UK.
I don't know how tricky it is opening and closing cinemas - as pubs and restaurants are having to do in UK - but it seems a pity to have stayed open so long with a low earner like Tenet and then miss out on WW, which could be huge.
But then again, maybe nobody will go. We will know soon enough.
Will release of Wonder Woman in a few days have any impact on CINE?
I did ask once before but no answers.
Sorry if it was a stupid question but obviously WW is going to be showing somewhere?
As far as I know, Wonder Woman is being released in December, in various formats and in various countries.
So I am "wondering", is CINE going to be showing it / reaping the any benefit?
So we are stuck nibbling at 60p.
Not basis for the pause in the real world.
Only in the crazy manipulated world of the markets.
MM be damned.
Thanks for the analysis, Drifty. I had been pondering the comparison myself and going to ask for some thoughts.
Like you, I see the crucial issue is the Debt Covenant waiver. If - once - when that is done, surely there will be a big boost.
I only wish it could be done yesterday!!!!
Thanks for posting Drifty.
Like you and Moola and Prayfor and a few others who have large long term holding, it is good to some serious thinking.
Alas, this board is mainly hi-jacked by negative vomit which wastes everyone's time.
I have filtered them but still have to read responses to them. They dreamers are only enjoying being annoying.
Sad lives to say the least.
Thanks ant moss.
Trouble with responding to shorters is that people like me have to sort through 3 pages to find anyone talking about more valuable things.
Meanwhile, I am like you and several other intelligent people on this board in a for a lot of money, suffering badly while it is down - but only half as badly as a week ago - and holding for the LT -
I saw On The Rocks on the weekend - after month watching films on my phone it nearly blew my eyes away. Cinema offers something that streaming never will.
Unless you are the kind of guys who invites mates over to watch TV because you are afraid of going out of the house.
Goodness but this board has been consumed by people talking about Shorters and nothing else.
I have filtered all the shorters but now the board is all about what they have said.
We need to ignore these bots and try to focus on details that will help us.
Please ignore the bastards.
Whatever does it signify when the sp just sticks so consistently at one price £0.30?
Bit weird no?
We are doing extraordinarily well considering that the rest of the market is tanking.
Too often we have been falling while other rise - and then falling when they fall too.
Nice to go the other way for a change. Seems someone really believes CINE has room to run yet.
Fingers crossed.
Forget home viewing for a moment.
Have you not noticed that the sp is tanking this morning?
Anything to do with the RNS late yesterday afternoon which no one has explained properly yet.
Maybe this has been posted.
But in case some missed it, makes for a good reason, let off some steam.

If you are in NEX, perhaps you would like to stay there.
Leave us in peace. Thanks.
Nickname: InOverMyHead.
Thanks for all the comments to my post re MS.
Once again we seem to have reason to be hopeful for Monday.
Let's hope it happens this time.
So far we are not even back to the 60p we had last Monday. Grrr.
I follow most posts most days but I seem to have missed a few details of MS's latest manoeuvres.
Did this company downgrade CINE to 60p on June 1 and even whisper that they thought it might go to 20p?
And then this week up the holdings above 3%.
Sorry to trouble anyone to rehash old news but it seems important to be clear what this broker is doing.
Hopefully someone can answer without wasting too much of their Saturday mooring. Thanks.
I compared the trading range graph to that of dozens of other stocks both daily and the past week.
Nothing comes close to matching the way this flatlines. Something very strange.
Saw Tenet last night.
Found it gripping from start to finish. Surely "word of mouth" will get people into the cinemas, perhaps as early as this weekend.
Fingers crossed. Certainly need a boost from this last little drop. Perhaps turning upwards as I speak.
