What Goldman says (below) doesn't seem to tell us anything.
I think we all know that UK is not the target market at this point.
And a "sell" target 2.5% below the current price hardly seems to need an analyst.

The analyst warns that the company is headed for another disappointing year in the U.K. markets due to the slowdown in the gin category and with less upside coming from its distribution gains, adding that there are no obvious catalysts for trends to improve in FY20.

All I have to do it figure out when it has hit its high - ha, ha.
It has done that the past 2 Wednesdays about 11 am - but of course I have not sold because I am dreaming this is finally the beginning of a big jump.

No one had posted here for ages, so I will step in. Fever was doing very well yesterday until 4 pm - when it fell off a cliff - at the very same time that the US market also tanked.In the US the fall lasted just 30 minutes until our markets closed, then it recovered. Obviously FEVER had no chance to follow suit. Could it make up for lost time this morning. Have to hope so. It is up 2% on the week but needs to do a lot better just to get respectable. It is still mired at the low level it hit following the results on January 20th. No movement for a month. Except to recover from the new lows that followed the 20th.

If my will power had anything to do with it, it would be £20 by lunch.
Of course, if my will power counted for anything, it would never have gone below £20. :-)
Just happy now to see it may be heading for more sensible territory, pending the Results on March 24th.

I know we are living in turbulent time but of the 15 shares I track, 14 were up - some by 3%.
No prizes for guessing which was down. Goodness but we are taking a beating.
Usually there would have to be something seriously wrong for a share to go down this much, this consistently.
But there was nothing like that in the RNS. Obviously the Director buy did not see it going this way either.
Something strange is going on? People who bought in 3 years ago taking a profit? I don't know.
I just don't think I have ever seen a good share go down so consistently. It seem impossible to buy a break.
Oh, well, maybe tomorrow. :-)

I just want to share some sympathy with all of those who are feeling the pain of what is beginning to seem like a relentless, non-stop fall. Damn it hurts. Typical AIM stuff, yes, we know that. But knowledge does not stop the fear, anger, nay despair. Goodness, it is so hard to see the upside when it goes on like this. But what can we do. Naught but hold hands and let the bastard MM / II / shorters play their silly games and somehow get through the darkness to the date when G&FeverTs rule the world.

He may be up £32K but he is also nursing huge paper losses on many shares at an average purchase of £27 or something.
Sure he would want to average down a little. But he didn't have to bet more money.
At least he had the willingness to mop up some shares to help us all. Indeed, it turned around almost as soon as he piled in.

I had the same question:
Monday's RNS was a Year End Trading Update.
Tomorrow promise is a Trading Update. Surely that will now be unnecessary.
Or will it? Anyone know for sure.

Re the RNS yesterday, some of you may have been stressed by the reference to US growth in "low double digits" vs previous reductions of 30%.
Maybe this is relevant:
Double digits is anything between 10~99 . If we have to differentiate between LOW,MID,HIGH ,
it will be 10~30 = low , 31~60 = mid , 61~99 = high .
So I don't understand people saying low double digit is 10~12% or anything like that.

We are hearing from a lot of new voices today, many of them seeming to say that this was obviously overpriced.
Didn't hear so much of that in the previous month or two when brokers have been calling for an increase.
Oh, yes, it may still be overpriced but even the naysayers seem to admit it is a solid company and without wanting to gild the lily I am please to see some posters are allowing for the possibility that this sell off is over done and there is no telling where it will be in a day or two or a week. GLA

So the Update was released early for some reason - and it is definitely not great.
I begin by highlighting the worst.
One, UK seems to have stalled.
Two, the US will be low margins due to a hit.
EU is switching to Premium but only starting.
Definitely not what we were hoping for. Not one single outstanding bit of good news.
On the positive side, every sentence is upbeat and suggesting the company is on its way to great things.
Question is: How will the markets respond.. Conference call is at 8 am.

So we approach Thursday Jan 23 results.
we all know that shares can fall even on a good result, but hopefully not too much.
Question is: What will happen to Fever if the Results are poor - or worse?
I would like to think nothing too bad as we are already down with great hopes for the future.

So ends 2 weeks of pain, falling for no reason from £21 all the way down to £18.85 - causing a lot of worry - before getting back today to £21, the figure that seemed to have solid support before Christmas.
Now it is all to play for with the Update set for Thursday, Jan 23 - a week tomorrow.
Can we continue to build - please? Or are manipulators going to cause us more pain and worry?

Selling 250K shares has to have an impact but it also seems that this share is being unduly manipulated by some MM.
The daily pattern for the past month seems repeatedly predictable. It opens with a huge unrealistic spread then has often gone up midday only to fall off badly, all for no reason.

Except, on the negative side, I topped up - threw in my last £5K - at £20.40 on Monday as I had seen it bounce back from there too often, only for it to drop more.
On the positive side, I have a growing list of shares that have had amazing recoveries (too often short after I sold) starting with BOO followed by Greggs and Talktalk. This time I am determined to hang on. I don't have a timescale either but it does not help my sleep to be 5% down today knowing things can always get worse, even with a great share. At the very least, we are all kicking ourself that we didn't wait until now. Grrr.

As it happens my average is almost exactly the same as yours (£21.72 to be precise) and I am holding for the same reasons.
Yes, I would buy more if I could get my grandmother to loosen the purse strings but for now I am skint.
Of course, for now we are all whistling in the wind. We will know 2 weeks tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

As for the future, this drop on Nielsen's news closely follows what happened after the same kind of report in Nov 2018.
Fever certainly recovered from that drop and have to hope it recovers now despite moderating sales.
After all, its price is currently only a little better than 3 years ago - and roughly half what it has been.

I have to think someone got the wrong end of the stick and panicked and this will bounce back today.
