T not yet, Have been with my CCL; have been watching the OCDO highs and lows to see the range and how many more shares it would be. Missed a couple of nice spikes at open this week I would have gone for. Watching now as it reaches a high point.

Was thinking of waiting until after the H1 results on 14th, but may sell 1/2 my holding before so I have cash spare and less exposure.

Not sure if to buy into more MCRO at this price!

The CCL board had that UK govt says no cruises ... but later followed up by that was the advice since the beginning ... I guess just reiterated? Just as CCL said Aida to go from August.

What time is the CCL presentation / call / webcast - I found it at 10am EDT and 3pm BST- that's USA and UK times. Hope it will cover sailing in Oct.

O - excellent idea, I haven't been on a cruise, I am covid free, and lost this years USA holiday so I'm in!

Had bought at 1020, sold 1004? So a loss. Bought 969, even with fees and stamp got more shares or couple of hundred quid and same number. So over all at least straights. Your method/style DOES work, as I knew even when I hated making a loss on a trade ... lets see how these do now!
Were up a bit now down a bit... have to see what tomorrow brings!

Bought back CCL at 969, so extra 19 shares!

T - CCL fallen back 30p now. I was aiming to sell on the spike ( just a little early ) and buy back on the shake, which **may** be now ... or wait for the news tomorrow from CCL ... which if good may give a nice rise. If bad a fall again and time to buy...
Fairly obviously they have made no money for months and have a cash burn for the ships and staff, and recent fund raising ... but maybe all the bad news is factored into the price.

Sold CCL at 1004 earlier... expected a fall to buy back in but seem to have settled a bit higher for now. Maybe 2:30 shake or pre tomorrows news?

R - the RNS mark and a heading in the RNS area exist, but the actual document no longer exists - 404 error!

Maybe taken down?? It was only 2nd July they had a RNS saying Aida line ceased until Aug 20.

CCL still rising tho so probably a LSE error.

Couldn't get a sell on hL - kept getting the "sell price is higher than buy due to ... " and kept getting silly price that was not accepted. Hope on a bounce later.

R - are you in GGP? I got in around 7p, traded a bit, bought and kept around 10p. Waiting for the big ride!!!! Although not got millions like some on the board there.

The Eat... vouchers I think start next week and cover monday - Wednesday, so one of the BC news commentators said, may not include drinks, and limited to £10 off per person.
Lots of start and end dates mentioned I may have mixed up.

T - Is that VAT threshold for mandatory registration of VAT, you can self register if it helps the business ( like on cost of goods if a supplier / builder etc. ).
I think it is MEANT to reduce the cost to the consumer ( get people buying ) BUT the commentator also said they expect the businesses to hold them back to boost the bottom line, and as you rightly say, reduce VAT liability to Gvt.

It will be interesting exactly what Tourism & Leisure and Hospitality businesses are actually covered by the 5% VAT.
Presume it includes restaurants, cafes, pubs, - takeaways & chippies? Burger joints?
Cinema's, theatre, bowling, sports etc.??
Holiday firms, coach firms, airlines, cruises, Butlins et al??

Lots of money on jobs - bonus to employers who get a furloughed worker back in work
Govt will pay for new job - worker's salary for 6 months ( to a limit ), trainee fund,
Lots of new job centre workers and work coaches to be hired to support
VAT cut on leisure and hospitality to 5% until Jan 21
"Eat Out to Help Out" half price meal schemes with govt paying cafe's within 5 days
Vouchers for house upgrades £5k - £10k for lowest earners - mainly energy efficiency
Stamp duty threshold ( on property ) lifted to £500k until March 21

M - nice breakfast.

MM's - I think it stands for Market Makers - the companies/people ( brokers? ) who do the trading and can hold shares bought and sold.
