R - I'll avoid Cornwall those dates too!
Don't think we are doing anything this year, this years villa moved to 2022 as OH had already booked next years ... and flights, car, tickets etc. all moved to next year.

T - yes been many times to Disney / Universal, Gatorland, Busch Gardens, Kennedy - started going in 1989 with the then girlfriend now wife, and since took the kids.
Did just about EVERYTHING in Disney the first time - tree house, paddle streamer, Tom Sawyer island, even that damn Small World and USA President show!!! After a few visits it got samey / boring as not a lot changed. This last 3 years LOADS have changed, so worth a re-visit.

Universal I like, do that every year. Busch every year. Gatorland, Boggy Creek fanboats crocodile watching most years and
Kennedy every couple of years. No kids to take now, happy days!!

We are all missing the hols, roll on 2021 !

R - T beat me to it, well done on your dad's holdings, and good luck with both his and yours! Couldn't buy more this morning! I've only been in GGP since Feb ( only started trading in Feb! ) and only 100k shares, but still a nice profit IF I sell.
Lock in some profit, and as they say, "Hold for Gold!"

Hopefully GGP will do the same in next couple of months, already up near 25% in 36 hours and more to go once the mining reports come out, and ( if you read the boards!! ) can go to 20p, 34p, 74p, which again will do many people on there very well indeed as they own millions of shares or many hundreds of thousands from the sub 1p, 2-3p days .. last year!

I have a small holding at around 11p so it's OK for me too!

A couple of other Brigadiers hold GGP too likely at lower prices, esp.S, so they will be rather pleased!

Not aimed at me but my hols were 3 weeks in USA, disney hotel then villa, in 2 1/2 weeks time .. but all cancelled. No loss though as all moved or refunded.

R - mainly been in and out of SNG for good profit on a small investment ... and just topped up to average down my slow movers! Ohh yeah and bandwagon jumping on UFO again!

It gets boring staring at the portfolio screen in red ( not rose tinted glasses! ) mainly, and the pages with charts for each share on HL and LSE, reading the LSE board comments... and not being able to buy/sell. Worse when I had all capital tied up in over priced shares or non movers, but passed most of that now.

Hope you are having a reasonable time, or at least doing something less boring! Fancy building a studio??!! Dog walking??

T - yes, it's been very slow / flat / small fall ... "happy" to wait for better news, trade where I can but holding a few stocks now that ain't moving.
I am confident it will all kick off in a few weeks.. the odd month or two, and while we can't profit daily easily it will come good in Q4.

For good news, how about this on HL company news re Synairgen - "a private investor, now holds 7,770,000 ordinary shares of 1 pence each in the capital of the Company, representing 5.20% of the Company's issued share capital."
Lucky chap! I did see the ii portfolio screen shot of the chap in there with 700,000 shares, very nice! Love the fact several on that board have now resigned from work, bought houses/cars big holidays as they made hundreds of thousands plus as they were in there at pennies. Well Done.

Miners doing well, the UFO ( Alien Metals, mainly silver ) i have traded/held on and off all year has been sat at around 0.11 for months, I sold last week at 0.13 for 10% profit ( ok, £75 on 600,000 shares! ) and now it's at 0.2 .. bought a million so already in profit double last time!

Like GGP the price increased with gold and silver prices rising, and also on the back of forthcoming mining resource etc. reports.
Whether I hold a slong as I will on GGP remains to be seen.

My recovery shares have yet to recover, sold Wetherspoons ona spike at a loss yesterday as they just were not moving... fallen back today but don't think I'll buy back in yet. Averaged down on my MArstons and Mitchells&Butler's again not moved more than 2 p for a week .. no spikes/shakes!
Cine boring me too ... waiting on opening before I ditch or profit on those!!

Had been trading Fevertree last week ... since I bought back in on Friday they were flat / falling! No idea why, guess just market sentiment as lots of shares fallen last few days... it will recover shortly I am sure!

SNG have slowed down now as T suggested would after a day or two ( pending results of the home trials and COPD efficacy ) yet may rise a bit tomorrow. Anyway I had 2 good runs at them.

Read lots of the GGP board, looking very promising this week especially after the results Wed eve in Australia/Thursday morning here.... another life changing amount of money for you perhaps after NCYT and SNG !
S my son, next week you'll be a share millionaire!

I just need to sort FEVR and MCRO now ....

Looks like SNG have settled down, sat on 200 ish, despite USA open. Maybe Trumpy's address later may mention them and it will take off?

T - Yep, I got caught up in the excitement of fast rising shares before and got caught buying in at far too high position as they fell back a bit, but kept on going down. Eventually sold at a loss .. learning occurrence!

Hope to avoid that now / again!

S - I agree. There was a big buy ( Arcacia ? ) at 6% stake! Only 130million shares out and about if I read it right so I guess in short supply!

US tech shares were flying yesterday apparently, else good sentiment on covid meds?
Leisure shares moving up too.

SOld SNG on a limit sell finally but only 210 ish, but profit locked in. Probably bought the steering wheel and horn now! Get back in on a dip!
