Boris is on TV with new timetable re: virus.
Stasia and conferences OK from Oct. Leisure centres from 1 Aug. Social distancing until Nov, aim for normality after that.
Increase testing to 0.5m/day. £3billon for NHS to get ready for possible 2nd wave in colder weather. Nightingale hospitals to be maintained until MArch 2021 in case.

Not sure if this will get the market excited.

T - Yes, it does! Over the next few weeks things will get better, more movement on news and perhaps volatility as the price move back up to normal / 2019/Q1 2020 levels?

Were going nowhere this year, 1 event moved to Feb 2021, Youngests Graduation cancelled in July, USA hols all cancelled, at least moved or refunded so lost nothing apart from the experience.

Sold my FEVR, first trading pair in a couple of weeks, at 2315 for 1.5% profit. Missed this!
May put a low limit buy on for the morning so I don't miss the low again / get caught out with the wide spread.

S - did the same with FEVR, hit 2320, waited, tried to sell, by time got a price was under 2310 ... waited, fell back to 2300 !

All in profit, was expecting to go back to near yesterdays closing price... it's a little tease is FEVR !
Could sell soon or hold for tomorrow...

Now can someone reboot MCRO!

R - where on HL can I find that shareholder perks info on MARS? Couple of pubs near me, not sure if they are participating, but 20% is worth a look!

I did a few in/out trades on MARS last couple of months, di OK too on the small daily range. Don't seem volatile now, although over 1 million volume..

R - Sorry, wasn't sure if you were in MCRO. Looking steady, seems to be being held at the 310 level, perhaps when the MM's get their cheap shares for the institutions, and/or shorts close, may get back to mid / high 300's?

My leisure ( pubs/brewers & cine ) fallen a bit, hope for a kick up when the vaccine report comes out, and when Cine open end of July. Averaged down in CINE and MARS at these prices. Waiting for a spike and shake here!

S - The ads are generated by the ad server that the web site uses to sell ad space ... they read the stored cookies on your PC/laptop/phone etc. for any site you have visited - not just items you clicked on but the dumb ads on the side of e.g. newspaper pages, amazon, ebay, facebook etc. You know, the pop up ones on the side or under the page you are reding.

If you turn off those you can in the manage preferences window that pops up now and then on LSE ( and other sites asking permissions ) the ads will be less, but less personalised.

The tips I posted here the other day for Chrome - turn off the window element that displays the ad - will stop them, at least did for me!
And get an adblocker - adblock plus is free and not intrusive.

Otherwise, fun to see what ads you are getting! I suppose container shelter could be a reference to sheds?

So at least 3 of us in MCRO. I topped up at 309, others are at 320 ish from earlier in the week. Probably the kiss of death to it then!

T -quite slow.

MCRO down at moment. When is it going to climb!

Noticed sudden big fall in FEVR on open, bought in at around 2220 ... but the speed it rebounded ended up nearer 2250. wide spread at the time too. So in Fevr now. Drop likely down to a broker de-rate??

Rest of my watch list rose a bit on open now steady.... "everyone" seems to be waiting for the Oxford vaccine announcement today / Monday.

Although with the market being flat / down, the "homework" / calcs I did showed I would make a few hundred quid a day but if the loss was 2-3K then would take ages.

I did do that with a couple of shares on your suggestion, and made something each time, but still below the loss ... but will catch up soon!

Thanks for the advice though, keep it up, it doesn't upset me, just motivates and guides me!

T - totally right! When I tried other shares I saw fall, mentioned on here etc. I didn't do that well or it took days.

So reading the boards, the financials, share news, here, and focus on the shares I am familiar with will work magic!

T - don't rub it in! I watch these fast moving shares like ASC and FEVR jealously when I had no spare cash .. too much tied up in OCDO and CCL ... I would have loved 1000 ASC and FEVR today!

Profit made today on OCDO and a bit yesterday on UFO, cash flow back up and running, leisure stocks rising, MCRO moving north ... overall not a bad day!

Yes T, last 3-6 weeks have been hard / boring.

Looking at my "accounts" spreadsheet I was updating yesterday, when I was doing well I was doing 4-6 trade pairs a day across 10-12 shares, not all at once, and getting 100+ to 800+ on them ... not sitting waiting for the price to rise.
Wake up call as well as Captain Treacle's coaching.. get back on that horse and trade!

3 vaccines, Oxford publish tomorrow, Moderna already over the news ... market like it!

Asos results were out, up, but analysts not impressed. So near £2 rise in sp!
