I am only an occasional visitor here though I have held the shares for several years (poor me!) BUT with todays news I wonder whether the continual delay and downplaying that SS and UKOG have done (to keep the price of buying the other owners of HH out) will now be a thing of the past and we will see some real purpose, application and progress?

I was talking about buying Magellan out in 2017 and at last it has happened which is great BUT I hate the overhang/drip drip dilution caused by the method used to fund it. I have seen this elsewhere and it leads to pain for the LTH like myself. UNLESS our valuation starts to go upwards quickly.

IMHO of course and goof luck all LTH in here and in ALBA (another dog in my portfolio)

So a great RNS. With a clear programme of works.

The activity to check the mined materials in the mine could lead to some gold being recovered. AND implies that Alba are able to recover this material and process it which is interesting. Perhaps relying upon pre existing approvals for mining (and perhaps processing mined materials) at Clogau and licences from the Crown.

I suspect the trenching along the gold belt found will require additional approvals and may also have a limited scope on terms of processing the materials other than for testing. But I could be wrong.

As usual with Alba it is "jam tomorrow" but being in the UK with good infrastructure and support services available progress ought to be swift (apart from EA approvals and any planning permission needed).

well at least we have something today on the last item I requested.......come on BOD let us know about the other assets

come on Alba BOD tell us about Limerick testing, update us on Greenland programme, tell us about partnerships for production, update on Clogau progress as you have had underground access for some weeks now, get UKOG to update on rig arrival at HH.......

Process ongoing with talks with what I would call a preferred bidder (but they do not use these words).

Some cautionary statements around an offer not being certain but this looks good - it all depends upon the offer price!

I am enjoying the uplift arising from this sales process but not sure now whether to continue holding or take profit.......

I could simply repeat my post from 27th March as these results are excellent again and will hopefully cause a good price rise today.........still worried by coal longer term.

So based on yesterdays price Oakley are trading at more than a 30% discount to NAV.......seems very large. Hopefully this update will cause a correction.

My only concern with the RNS is the lack of any mention of payment.......or the impact of the contract in terms of scale. It sounds big. It sounds like it will add to revenue and profit BUT it is impossible to tell.

Always worried that for deals with non profit companies then prices are lowered by the selling company........

hopefully the debt being cut and the increased dividends will push the share price upwards today......

unclear from RNS whether the hospitals were sold above the NAV they have in the accounts......

agreed excellent update ! I particularly liked the repeat contract figures which are up YOY and at a very good level now. I would not be surprised to see a dividend increase at the full year.......

The Royal Bank of Cyprus has approved the proposed change in control of Safecharge Limited by Nuvei – the company acquiring it. The relevant condition to the acquisition has now been satisfied. Safecharge (SCH) has confirmed that the court hearing for the consideration and sanction of the takeover scheme document will take place in Guernsey on 31 July 2019. The last day of dealings in SafeCharge shares on Aim is expected to be 31 July 2019, and it’s intended that dealings in SafeCharge shares will be suspended on 1 August.

Approval obtained for takeover.

The only timetable stated is still "The Scheme is still expected to become Effective in this third quarter of 2019."

The GM/Court Meeting on the takeover is today (now in fact) so more news tomorrow or even before COP today. Takeover seems to be closing in Q3 (September)

looks like you have good timing as UKOG is going well and it looks like some upward movement for Alba as well.....

Yes I do - most likely linked to Weald oil and UKOG BUT George F did mention he was talking to a lot of peoople about partnerships etc so we could see an announcement on a farm out / farm min / partnership on one of the Greenland resources.

I think most likely update )other than the rig arriving at HH) will be initial results from Ireland.

Then Clogau update perhaps with more results.

Then farm out deal in Greenland.
