John Lyttle came from Primark where they had a labour scandle he walked in to problems at Boo he doesn't seem to have the faith to buy Boo shares he in my book is very over rated. The rest are done well market traders and the city have seen through them . I would like to know who's shares MW are borrowing to go short, just me being cynical! I'm here now hoping for a buyout but watching Lloyd's and Barclays rise.

ScB yes I'm long and intended to hold some for a few years as Boo grew but I'm kicking my self now as I did want to reduce as QE ended and rotate 50% of my holding to Lloyd's. I was sure £2 was the base for this. The TU shocked me so I'm just watching and waiting for a chance to do that but it's turning into a "should have done that yesterday investment"

You are posting on the Boohoo board so we're talking about boo shorts not asos shorts so MW increased on Friday

Nasdaq staging a recovery atm. It would be nice to see positive news from ASOS and some DOD buys here on Thursday but I think we're all ready for the expected!

MW upping again on Friday. They must be confident that ASOS and markets will pull this lower!

Is there not a physical Debenhams open in Manchester? I'm sure if it was proving to be a great success they'd be thinking of a few more in prime locations?

Talking of confidence!!! Norges bank, one of the largest funds in the world that made $113 billion profit last results alone have bought 4% of Boohoo MW are shorting 2.11%
Funds are holding 30% of Boo.
Just to put things in to prospective for some on here.
Norges bank can buy as much of Boo as they like from pocket change

Norges Bank fund made $112B profit last results they could take any % they like of Boo from pocket chance!

C17m shares traded and the shorts could only hold this level.
The large institutions hold round 30% of Boo. How long before they take offence to the short attack?

Usual half story from the Times. No mention of the recent c£73m investment from the Norges bank let alone the other funds investing.

MW have called it correctly this year let's hope the second largest fund in the world buying 4% call it correctly next year?

Just an additional thought to the video. Wasn't the heigh returns transitory due to people cancelling Christmas parties, Boohoo brands aren't all cheap throw away so their seeing the party dresses returned also I think he's missing the massive potential of the Debenhams platform selling third party goods particularly beauty and home goods .

I hope most on here understand that the BOD can buy after an update unless their working on something else at the time that is about to be announced. Hopefully not NBrown maybe something State side with a warehouse attached? Or just something to burn the shorters. Otherwise are they waiting to take it private on the cheap!

The cheeky bar stewards at MW upped again yesterday! Still no BOD buys . Carol is down about £100m and the kamani clan must be down about £1B combined yet no buy ins to show support? As for John Lyttle well he seems clueless about the confidence shown to investors by buying shares in the company that you run!
