All I asked is was it legal for a director to lend shares to a hedge fund!
My reason a director holding say 100m share and agreeing not to sell for a year or two but loosing £1m on every 1p down could they hedge their losses with shorts? Is that too difficult for you sad all day poster!

If the director lending shares to hedge funds is legal but just see as immoral then not much would happen.
You've been here long enough to have seen the full Boo story unfold. It was difficult to have been selling at £3 or £4 when the directors were in for a massive bonus at £6. I've said before I'm totally shocked this has dropped this far but for now in this market anything other than an excellent TU with DOD buys could see a big % drop and who knows how far it could go? As I've said I held Kcom up to £15 dot com bust came I managed to get out at £7 they went down to 5p and stayed there along time until eventually taken out at £1.20ish

Not sure about your millionaire statement but I'll admit I no longer have a million plus share portfolio but I only use money me and mine don't need to live on. Hopefully it will return but I'll fight to get it back and not just sit on my hands. I've taken early retirement so I have more time to dabble.

Selling a falling share that could recover at a later date and buying back in cheaper is called investing!
I was late Selling and admit my mistake but hopefully on the upside I'll have increased my original stake. You can just sit being moral others will be investing! Nobody on here can say the shorts got this wrong. It's cost me alot and I'll hopefully learn and fight another day.

All these sanctions against Russia but the politicians are saying how dependent Europe is on Russian oil and gas and they're paying Russia $100s of millions a day for their energy. Very messed up to me!
