Yep - that's why I believe Bonks to be correct when he says something is close. The boot is firmly pressed in to MTR at the mo, so here's to something good. Between Thor & Shanta it's been a good day. Best yet to come with MTR, boot removal pending.
Sorry - my bad on this one. I got sucked in to a dodgy news aggregator. I blame it on Frida;, too much coffee - too excited to get out of the office to thoroughly check it over against HL or someone reputable before posting. Looks like it's last years announcement rehashed - seems they do it often, a new example below; http://bangaloreweekly.com/2018-04-16-metal-tiger-plcs-mtr-buy-rating-reaffirmed-at-vsa-capital/ Still, it's based on some fact but it's a shame it's not for reals. Thor Mining who I have a few cheeky 's in announced a new target price today, look whats happened there. Good times if VSA do come back to reassess!
Sure most of you have seen this already - just in case if not; "Metal Tiger PLC (LON:MTR)s stock had its buy rating reaffirmed by equities research analysts at VSA Capital in a research report issued to clients and investors on Friday. They presently have a GBX 5.68 ($0.07) price objective on the stock. VSA Capitals price objective suggests a potential upside of 220.00% from the stocks current price."
Think Jonesy just likes a moan :-) Give it a few months mate - the RNS' are like busses with MTR. I'd flirt Halifax off ASAP - clunky, outdated system for trading. As Chesh says, HL trades go through with out a hitch. The 12 odd per trade is justified with some half decent buys.
For the third time this week - sell then! You dump it, i'll buy it back.
Agree on Halifax - nothing but a negative experience. HL - Excellent IMO - Calls go straight to a person and not a robot and I think they mention on the website that it's normally in under 10 seconds? From the few time I've called them it looks to be a fairly accurate statement too. Well worth it - fees not bad although there are cheaper ones for trades..
Sorry guys, I did try to clarify that I expect nothing but great positives in the short term too - not that it would remain static for 10 years! After all Sprott have what appears to be a minimum 5 year outlook on the SP based on last April's statement. I meant only in terms of how long I'd like to hold for. Been in since October of last, and it's one that I'd keep like to hang on to as it''s one of the good looking long termers. Luckily, I've got a few years less on the clock than some of the old timers here - so It's in for the long haul pending either a multi bag of unreal proportions or an unlikely horrific set back :) Plus it's mostly all going in to a SIPP that I won't see until 2036 or so!
...btw when I say decade, I meant that do I expect it to rise in that time! This is just my outlook on holding shares for the long term..just to clarify ;-)
As Sir Bonks says; "Don't sweat the fractions of pennies daily." & "Conquer thy inner muppet." If your not geared up for the long haul on this one as I've said before then sell up and cut your losses. Otherwise, join the wild ride over the coming decade.
Mate, it's a waiting game. The RNS isn't anything more than a small increase in MOD. Hold out for the bigger news which should be plentiful over the coming months. It's positive news none the less - so I understand your frustration, but not enough to change sentiment on the day to day trading which is peaks and troughs. At least the peaks and troughs of the day to day trades are now picking up in size though. Take the positive from that - the exposure is growing. GL all.
Exactly Mogwhy. If you want a short term profit, join the day traders. The rest of us are here for the long run.
x2? 13:21pm & 13:22pm!
Some nice chunky trades going in today. Got to love April liquidity and a double bottom! The 19k @ 2.13 should inspire some more to take a punt too. Tick tock.
What are your thoughts on ISA top up time approaching soon and a glut of good reg news in the next few weeks?
Exactly Bonks - maybe that's where the 6p came in to play as I scrambled for the Hargreaves Lansdown app! I highly doubt Sprott buy in just to get their investment back simply for good will - but maybe they are just nice like that? Patience is a virtue etc :-)
I had a dream last night that MTR hit 6p as trading opened. It woke me up and I checked my phone straight away. Sadly, it was just a dream - but is one that hopefully will be a reality some time soon. Look at the news we are getting over the coming months and tell me that this won't happen to some degree. Look at the daily trading. Minus the left hand to right hand as Bonks mentions and it's looking good. The market is looking more confident on MTR's outlook. Proactive Investors has a nice article at the moment and the exposure is growing daily. Stay patient, it's frustrating but it's a pivotal time. http://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/193767/metal-tigers-botswana-joint-venture-delivers-further-positive-drill-results-193767.html
Topped up another 45,000. Why not. Silly prices - it would be rude not to.
I look forward to when it does, and have full faith that it will! MTR was my first foray into AIM with a chunk of my SIPP and with your charts, updates and research have been a real gift in the learning curve on so many levels. Now i’m branching out in to other mining stocks with a deeper understanding of the market using my own and like zanman am learning what I can. I think its going to be very addictive over the coming years!
Thanks mate! I'm holding for the long run - 7 months and counting so far. The daily up & down is part and parcel - it's just annoying to watch what are clear games by those seeking to suppress the share price - especially when it's become so blindingly obvious in recent weeks. Worries me to think (in a v. positive way) what will happen when they can't keep the lid on it anymore though and change tack to buy! Thanks as always for the info - much appreciated.
Bonker, I'm interested in your post from a few days ago regarding Cantour & MM's. Is today's selling an indication of this again? They always seem to kick in at the point of any upswing in SP - at or around the same amount (2.06p) with four trades today alone just minutes apart?
