The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Hopefully It won’t be a case of ‘here are the 6 motions, all passed’. The AGM is a good platform to get some updates and news in front of investors. Considereding an RNS is a few hundred quid I hope that BB chuck in a few suprises to get their moneys worth.
Not sure if this has been posted already - but given that there have been a few mentions of the APAC expansion being key to next weeks AGM; Back in Feb Caroline Troman was appointed as APAC Commercial Director. Her track history makes for impressive reading - and she appears to have left a significant blue chip to come to BBSN, namely AOL as Commerical Director, but has also worked at Yahoo and Microsoft. She is tasked with the companies Asia expansion & is based in Singapore leading notable BBSN client projects including Johnson & Johnson, P&G & All Nippon. APAC expansion is significant to BBSN as typically it is seen as a large untapped market for social media style advertising.
Good to see new faces on here who have turned up for a bit of actual debate on BBSN. Bodes well!
Thanks JS, i’m starting to get lost with the sheer amount of discoveries at the mo!
and with epic luck/praying to the patron Saint of Miners - the Seven Sisters of the Kalahari will be v. kind to us. Good times.
Luvvly jubbly. That'll do nicely.
With out knowing what's in store next week - it's at the very top end of an entry point (BUY in c. 2.30 as I write). Worth a punt for anyone wanting to get in on the action that can risk a potential downslide before the AGM. If you like the fundamentals and believe the next few weeks will pan out well news wise, then yeah. Just expect a little turbulence until then and avoid the sell button if it drops to a loss.
....as others have mentioned though, the AGM will be the true test, plus Tubular Labs results for this month. At the mo the share price is just rallying on the news so it will float up and down. On good news on one, or both this goes sharp north.
Yup. Depends on momentum, but it's firmly running through the middle of a couple of nice upward trend lines on my chart ahead of next weeks news. If it does continue probing before then it's smack bang on 3 or even 3.25 with the right kind of a kick behind it - but that it based on it breaking some barriers. Can it keep it up...we'll see. Either way - it's performing nicely.
It's gonna bounce & test the lines all day. If it hits the 2.57 mark again and makes a break then 3p will be the next natural point to test.
Well well, now this is interesting. Still in the channel that I'd expected it float between pre AGM - but a little earlier than scheduled. Something on the cards perhaps?
I take it admin have resulted to removing Sbuilds posts, or did he report it himself to look that little less daft with his comments? Tut tut - maybe next time refrain from inferring that you have news that the rest of us don't or that the directors of BBSN are using nefarious means of dumping shares that contravene market rules. Perhaps a little more research next time and less mouthing off would help. On a positive note, today's trading is still firmly in the expected lines with a nice little move in to the blue. Ticking up comfortably above the support line and should finish the week/early next with a bit of momentum ahead of next weeks AGM news imho. Here's hoping for some positive news, and some interesting trading on the back of it! GLA!
Numb hands here - but stops me from de risking until this gets where it should be!
...on top of that, they also bought at 0.8, around the point you did too? You sold out way back at the time that they bought. The directors didn't sell - even on the spike.
On the grape vine how? Officially, there have been no changes to shares held by directors as per PDMR rules or there would have been an update. As per LSE, the last trades made were all buys back in Jan.
If it's pay per view then good times! IMHO it's a combination of each though. Summer is fast approaching too - looking foward to seeing the new roll out of clients/projects!
Balls to the pump and dump - I've been very clear where that is concerned and we seem to be covering old ground. It's in the past. Had it not been for that then a lot of people that are currently here (including me) would not have found this share and started tearing in to the fundamentals. On closer look it has downsides - but find me an AIM share that doesn't come with such inherent risk. On the flip side - new high profile management, cash burn reduced, cancellation of overdraft facility (because it's not needed) and a large portfolio of serious players on the books must surely stack up as positives. If your out and looking for a floor to get back in then your staring at it.Could change either way in a heart beat with the news over the next few weeks but that's part of the game. I'm happy with the level that I'm in at and will continue trading any dip to average out.
Water off a ducks back. Sbuilds just a bit salty, because, and I quote from his posting history; "Jesus h Christ. I actually feel sick. I sold about 10k in bbsn at the beginning of the year" ...and I'm the div? Haaa! Remind me to listen to more of his sage advice. A missed opportunity of circa 40-45k on the peak? I'd be sick too!! Prat.
...and maybe you should take a look at my previous posts, particularly on the last spike. I’m sure Mm will vouch that we had a few crossed words about my negativity. An rns reach should NEVER have been issued for something so price sensitive, did I not make that clear? Even warned off anyone jumping on the bandwagon when it went vertical against the following drop. So what are you disagreeing with? Loss making company? Yes, welcome to fking AIM. The gap is closing rapidly as per last years statements. Profitable this year? Probs not, but certainly turning a corner. As for dodgy viewing figures, no. Certainly any profit is near impossible to judge - but hugely advantageous to gather new contracts with a reach so wide. Feel free to throw some insults though. Sounds like thats all your capable of. On the other hand, I only hold long term. I like what I see, for the right price. I’ve increased my stake week on week trading the dips. You?
Btw, hope you all have the 13th & 14th June pencilled in your diaries :)
