If 10p is your price to sell for you Wonga then that's good for you. But as a LTH the potential of Qfi is far more significant than 10p. After so long being invested I want to see what that is and so do others.

Really Y-Alam.poor performance, I know I'm known as a negative Nancy at times but you are most definitely wrong. All projects are proceeding at pace in the right direction and all its takes is a little more patience. The nxt 6 months should be very exciting, and hopefully these granted options reflect that and the increase in share price to come .

The price really has nothing to do with Qfi. They have delivered on everything so far that they said they would. Due to the big seller ( Miton) the GREAT NEWS would never rise into that until the seller is cleared.

My moaning and groaning was always about delivery from Qfi and that is what they have done, I am happy to continue forward.

No way can you blame Qfi for the market actions.

Oh I agree its an opportunity to be taken advantage of if you can. The future is very bright ahead. But what you have to understand is, that those who can't afford or don't want to invest any more money, just want to see what they have to start to appreciate in value and so get frustrated .

Think for those people, switch off, come back in a few months time.

Unfortunately haggis, not everybody has the funds to take advantage at this price. Those who have like yourself are in a fortunate position. With a cost of living crisis about to get worse from October onwards , paying the bills and keeping a roof over your head trumps the bargain basement price at the moment.

No need for an RNS on fuel production. Just a nice RNS after the trial is over and how successful it was and onto contract negotiations.

I remember JM saying they had preliminary talks with lithuania, again PK orlen would be our best representative towards politicians in this regard and hopefully that is what is happening.

I would think or hope that MSAR would be at the forefront of the mind in Lithuania. Qfi worked with PK Orlen to develop their MSAR version which was hailed and won awards. If Lithuania are considering fuel oil as per the article then it wouldn't take much of a PR drive by Qfi or PK Orlen to kick HFO into touch and make MSAR the preferred fuel.

Economics, Environmentals and stability of supply since Lithuania have ditch Russian oil and sourcing more oil from the North Sea and the Middle East.

Been keeping an eye on the ongoing fuel crisis with respects to Lithuania. Basically to see if they would revert to fuel oil as a power generation fuel, predictably at some point it would occur and sure as eggs are eggs

Among the latest batch of MSC purchases is the 4,939 teu Mexico, which has seen its value more than treble since March, with the 19-year-old panamax now worth $37m, according to VesselsValue data. However, The Loadstar sources are saying MSC paid a whopping $50m, more than 33% above that.

Whether both ships were purchased specifically for the trials or not. It can be said that MSC are putting a significant investment on the line to trial the fuels and they must be pretty confident that it will work. Otherwise they would have done full static engine tests via Wartsilla.

You would think Miton would hold on to a core holding say about 50 million shares and sell into the price rise over the nxt 6 months.

Incredible news and the patience ( and impatience in my case) is beginning to take an extremely positive step in the right direction. Lots of work to do, but its all in hand and now the framework has been signed MSC will be all guns blazing to get to the trial.

Depending on the route of the trial we have an MMU to go.

Does that mean if a mediterrean route, Cepsa or from a North European route Shell.

Don't forget Shell were involved in the development and trial with Maersk as per the westhouse brokers note which I posted a few years back and can no longer find.

And with the development of the new biofuels plant at Rotterdam fuels and chemicals park (Pernis) then it makes sense.....to have both I think.

The key for me is to get the Morocco trial done by end of Sept. The relationship is good. The equipment on site, the schedule planned, all we need to do is get the nod and produce the fuel and it can be up and running within a week. The Q3 deadline is still on track, so this barring any catastrophe should be should be keeping an eye on

Nevertheless, although a number of its ships on charter are fitted with scrubbers, it is surprising, given its hitherto negative views on the technology, that the newbuild long-term charters from Zodiac are equipped with the exhaust gas washing systems that will allow the vessels to consume heavy fuel oil (HFO) within IMO regulations.

However, the gap between the price of HFO and low-sulphur fuel (LSFO) has widened to more than $300 per ton, putting carriers that operate scrubber-fitted ships at a considerable operating cost-, and thus unit cost-, advantage over the LSFO-operated ships of their competitors.

The hypocrisy of Maersk knows no bounds does it.
