This is great news for the country and I see both TZ and Barrick are saying all the right things, aka a 'new day' in Africa, and that TZ is a wonderful place to invest in. Hopefully the healing can start now after the negative ripples this dispute caused.

I'd disagree with you on 'investor' claim artrader. 3.5bn shares outstanding in this company, and barely any daily volume. 50% is held in institutional and mgmt control. Amost everyone is staying put, waiting for next phase to begin.

I think using words such as 'knowledge gained,' 'potential', and 'future appraisals' without including any expected numbers on 'net pay' has scared off some people.

Did we actually find something commercial? Or did we just spend $5m confirming something we already knew: that oil is there but is hard to extract. Nobody seems to have a clue

Price of oil is up, over the dreaded $60 cap, we're making more $$ on normal operations. Yesterday's news from Total's Suriname discovery is positive. We already know Saffron's not a duster, with non-primary targets showing good pressures. Mgmt taking a good long look at this one.

Seems like the results will be either 'good' or 'outstanding'. Hoping for the latter obvs, but even if the former, at our market cap, the risk/reward looks compelling.

Agree that mgmt are not living up to their commitment for more transparent communication. They missed their 'mid-Q4' target, had the opportunity to get out in front of the message, and whiffed on their shot.

They're not waiting for full regulatory approvals to be in place, that will understandably take time. Simple fact is, we don't know what the hold up is, and now conspiracies and suspicions are setting in, which is damaging.

A failed test IMO, regardless of any update we'll get in next few days.

One has to think that SOLO are waiting for TZ signoff before finalizing their equity raise valuation. In fairness, if I were an Inst. Investor, I would want to know whether SOLO's current largest asset has any value to it or not before agreeing to a price.

The TZ gov't just continues to suck the energy out of all activity within its borders. Looking forward to a pre-Xmas update, but no longer expecting it to include much substance this side of 2020.

The extensions require Ministerial approval, not Parliamentary. I don't see how this impacts us.

They'll soon have a clean balance sheet with money in the bank and heavy Asian backers. The company is essentially just a shell though with no enterprise value. New name, new industries, new mgmt. No one yet knows what their strategy, business, or structure will be. That's the challenge for shareholders right now.

Mgmt granted themselves a bunch of options months before the NT2 drill as well, so I take it as a positive.

Personally I don't think it makes either side look professional. SCIR don't need to air its family affairs in public. Keep it in house!

I'm sure the only thing SCIR will do is vent a bit of irritation, and nothing more. This miscommunication merely crystallizes the fact that APT are running the Ruvuma show now, and both AEX and SCIR are just information takers.
