Merger with solo makes no sense. They have no CF and have a mgmt team in place with the chops to focus elsewhere.

WEN is a nice little company with CF and cash in bank. Problem with it is that it’s a value trap with a sp stuck in the mud, no mgmt team, and (seemingly) no ambition.

I don’t like the idea of doubling down on TZ right now, but it’d form a stronger company from which to expand in due course. Dilutive for sure, but also instantly accretive, esp when you look at WEN’s shockingly low enterprise value.

I’m expecting SOLO to announce a sale of its Ruvuma assets soon after the farmout is finalised. I give it a 95% probability it goes to ARA. I’m also expecting the sale price to be lower than many here have suggested. Only upside is SOLO will have cash in hand to pivot quickly on a deal aligned to their strategy.

So, a Q1’21 drill target and a possible acquisition/merger beforehand. Surprising (and welcomed) amount of candour from our new CEO. Lots of twists in the road to come. I certainly like the tone. GLA

Good volume, for AEX standards anyway. Seems to be ramping up too. Then again, this share always has a lot of twitchy traders on the sidelines, looking out for the slightest hint of rumour.

The funny thing is, we don't have any debt. No new bills coming through. It's a bad situation, but it was bad 6 months ago too.

Assuming our deal goes through, drilling costs have just gotten A LOT cheaper as other O&Gs cut back all capex for the next year or two.

ECO trades on the AIM version of the TSX, called the 'Venture' exchange. Like AIM, it can have some weird movements, but today's is a real standout.

Monday is a holiday in the US and Canada next week. Set RNS expectations for Tues at earliest. Personally, I think it'll be towards eom/ early March for next set of results. Hope I'm wrong!

Exactly Tornadotony. ECO's biggest worry is the partners will walk away from Guyana in the near term at least. Words from Total that they are committed to drilling more in the area gives hope to ECO that they can piggy back off big money. Whether TLW remains a part of it, is tbd. Qataris have a piece of the blocks as well, and could be suitors if Total is not interested.

Good find John. Looking to raise US$5-6m and start trading end of month. Can't imagine the IPO valuation will be much (any) of a premium to the price we paid. Still, good to see progress in at least one part of our portfolio.

It's impressive seeing the sp march upwards even with that level of selling from North. Hopefully they don't need to do much more re-balancing in their portfolio, and can let us get on with reaching our new fair value levels.
