Possibly the best designed mine processing plant I have seen in Africa. The flat plain characteristics help, of course.

George Kondela was up at North Mara for 3 years. His duties included underground geology at the mine, which is significant for YewTree and Gap. Interesting to note there is a great deal of exploration to be done north of Mang'onyi.

Sigalagala is ~50 km east of Isulu village. Without specific controls informal mining is almost certain to become a big obstacle. ZamaZama coverage illustrates the problem.

I have been trying to look for pluses in the Kilimapesa project for ~3 years and the licences south of Mwanza, and have not found any. By contrast the Singida project NW of Dodoma in that time has started from scratch and is now ready to go.

All equipment is new whereas the GDP rust bucket had an indifferent result. It could be a tough ride for GCAT . . . all posts to be followed with interest.

First interest in Bumbo credentials was the Aviva/Acacia report and there might be a couple more that followed it. Mineralisation in the corridor is extensive causing digression / examination into non-Au materials. (I had originally been attracted by Ag, Cu and Zn elements.)

Wandering off topic, acknowledged, but Karebe (Nandi Co.) has always interested me. Have we any acreage in the vicinity?

Long time since I have been on the Buffelspoort/Marikana Road . . . good to see it from the satellite again.

Main purpose of the exercise was to see what developments there are on solar panel installations in view of parallel CHAR/TotalEren relationship with our sister company. Rustmo1 is visible in the west, but nothing more, although the aerial may need updating.

I add little to the board but THS is established as a long-term holding, and has been joined by PTAL plus others. The only mistake was adding @ £1.40 and £1.60 . . . a situation that should ease as the company progresses in the Bushveld and up north.

Bushi/Isulu
Preparatory steps in the region have been underway for some time. A local liaison committee has been established and I understand road upgrades (blacktop) continue.

It is claimed, although the figure fluctuates, that > 80,000 are active in the two counties. Results/rewards vary - mostly small - but there are stories of multi-KEsh returns.

WK
Micromine and Pitman, who modelled the Singida project, might already be busy at Bushi/Isulu. Ramula is not being highlighted at present, but the status will change. As Eric stated "800 m" It suggests Bamboo/Digmin are out of the frame. CAPD has that sort of reach and is the likely choice. I recommend study of the company.

GoldTree and Gap are the primary pits but it would be interesting to learn if any test holes are to be drilled north of Mang'onyi.

Whilst checking SW and SE a couple of features are noted:
a) Lupa license area is understood to extend to Ilungi. Terrain becomes more rugged outside NLGM but geology to Barabara looks more than mildly interesting. Some distance along Lake Rukwa Walkabout are getting busy -

b) In the southeast it's worth noting that informal miners are digging shafts by hand to 120 feet. Greenstone belts must therefore extend further afield than the maps show.
