I think Nasdaq is nailed on - if AS truly wants to turn Avacta into another Abbot or Roche. Although Myles McNulty recently guessed a trade sale before Christmas. But everything is pointing to Nasdaq - Tufts University on side, FDA Orphan status, two US citizens on the board and AS pointing out that expansion would require appropriately scaled up capital.

I can't claim to properly understand this Sofie document but it seems to be saying the nailed on future for oncology is identifying and targeting FAP and this belongs to Avacta....the only company with a commercial product in trial. Quite extraordinary. No wonder the FDA gave them Orphan status. Did the FDA bite Avacta's hand off?

There is a world wide effort to speed up testing of life saving compounds and this was reported last year by the government's chief scientist , Sir Patrick Vallance, following a virtual conference with his senior international colleagues. I can't recall his exact words but it was along the lines of superior testing technology now available compared to the post-Thalidomide world.
And I have some sympathy with Riesgo. My daughter survived cancer (thank you Royal Marsden) but the chemo was terrible and she cried that she just wanted to die. Truly awful.

Timster...not so. Doctors regularly see patients with undetected tumors. I maintain Avacta's cohort patients are "clean"
