I think that's a reasonable assessment of AS's 17th Jan comment:

I agree that we are due a number of updates.....not least on the next-generation LFT promised by AS 13 months ago. The Medica Fair in Dusseldorf last November was a non-event for Avacta.....was that LFT due to be announced there?

I listened again yesterday.....very sobering. From memory AS used the word "dramatically" to describe the drop in toxic chemo impact on the human body. Quite a word for a scientist.
