Would Avacta really state that in an RNS if waiting on regulatory approval? I'd say not.

SB....I accept that and that is exactly how The Treasury want it to look. However, Alastair Smith was asking for urgent action, not for a report to be submitted at the end of the year, or whenever, and he now knows next week's budget will just be shadow boxing. It's probably tipped his hand in favour of NASDAQ.

Another rubbish hiring. We already appoint and pay ministers to make these decisions. Simply more can kicking from a Treasury scared of its own shadow.

Clever posting.....very upbeat. And put together by a copywriter so I'd say Zyme Communication is actually working for its money.

Avacta may be the problem...not Zyme. Every listed company will appoint an appropriate communications adviser but that doesn't necessarily mean they want one. The regulations insist. An adviser's standard fee will provide a bare bones service but active use by the client will quickly rack up Zyme's fees. Although their web site shows an Avacta case study it's ancient and AVCT is absent from the scrolling list of corporate logos.
There are times when I think Avacta may be the corporate customer from hell.

And neither it seems are potential licensees. I'm surprised at the radio silence - especially as AS told us more than a year ago he would be vigorously pursuing commercial deals. A business update might improve my sense of humour.

I disagree. On the 17th January AS told us in plain English the trial would continue without interruption:

"On the basis of the very favourable safety profile of AVA6000 in the study to date, the Safety Data Monitoring Committee (SDMC) has recommended continuation to higher dose cohorts with the aim of identifying a maximum tolerated dose (MTD) necessary to inform the dosing levels for the phase 1b and future studies."

And that statement from AS is probably nearly a year old....in which time I'm sure there will have been enquiries to buy a licence. I suspect the problem is Novartis etc is happy to pay $25M but Alastair wants 10X that. Who blinks first? Or simply buys Avacta for a multiple of a single license.

I'm repeating myself from another thread:

AS warned us in a letter to the The Times that Avacta will almost certainly have to move to Nasdaq.....to realise his dream. And soon.

Not a lot and that's why Avacta will go to Nasdaq. He did warn the world in his letter to The Times.
