By CAREFULLY reading MM's piece and combining it with today's RNS it's obvious why CC is so damned cheerful...the sums of money involved are mind boggling.

I believe there are many types of Affimers so splitting out for a specialised license shouldn't be a problem.

And that is good for next year but at the moment I'm interested in next week. Is the pipeline part of the imminent Heights jigsaw puzzle? I think it might be.

I'm assuming between the 10th and 15th October there'll be an RNS detailing payment to Heights.....cash or shares. On Monday 30th CC refused to explain her intentions so I'm guessing she thought she still had optionality which is probably based on the outcome of a potential pipeline agreement/partnership/license/payment. I'm guessing she's quite busy at the moment.

Just last month Daewoong opened a new stem cell test facility in Indonesia. The link goes to the South Korea Herald which explains this test facility is already GMP certified. Affyxell will be able to take advantage of Indonesia's much lower trial costs and hopefully a more aggressive timing schedule:

My guess is that ongoing funding by this time next year will be coming out of the USA.....one way or another. I think Avacta will be in danger of a take over the moment Phase 2 begins and it will need protecting by NASDAQ, or very deep pockets. International Pharma is not going to wait until the end of that phase and it's ridiculous to think that they would.

New board member Darlene Deptula-Hicks didn't join Avacta to stay in the backwaters of the LSE. So it's the USA or bust....and soon in my opinion.

CC said it has to be the right deal....she didn't rule that out. My guess is CC is using that Business Update as a form of negotiation and telling interested parties to give up on low -balling. I think we'll hear next week on the pipeline in time to advise us how she proposes tp settle the next Heights payment.

I think anyone thinking of selling this week is going to prove Buffett right....again.

My take:

Very good response from CC as she promotes the clinical success of pre|CISION and AVA6000...even more so than the early animal trials But she stressed the second half of this year for fuller information so a bit more patience required.
