Each to his own but I think we are way beyond preliminary meetings from the JP Morgan conference, or Simon Bennett will soon be looking for a new job. If I was paying that sort of salary for thirteen months I'd expect a deal/plan to be pencilled in...with heavy, black lead. And I also think everyone is simply waiting for the early data from the Virgilio Sacchini phase 1b breast cancer trial.

Am I alone in thinking that bizarre interview in December was simply a way of telling the world it works.......brilliantly. It was supposed to be a generalist interview between two respected Italians mulling on the meaning of life but the fourth paragraph opens with an obviously planted question:

Brilliant idea. Let's make the natural gas the American's supply us even more expensive....make the UK a true world leader in pricing electricity out of the wazoo.

In my opinion Avacta will stay independent because it wants to and NASDAQ can provide all the capital the business needs. The US is better at creating new stuff.

I'm waiting for one of the board's Rocket (armchair) Scientist to tell me Affimers are a waste of time, energy and money. And worth £1.50 if you're lucky.

Possibly....possibly not. The due diligence will be massive for a company sold twice in less than two years and especially if it involves borrowing to complete the purchase. I wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised to see a licence deal come first.

Either way I don't think we'll have long to wait........days/weeks.

I'd be delighted to see an offer for 50p as we'd be in play and the BOD can then look at the rival responses. Or would you vote in favour?

I stand by my 2024 opinion that Deptula-Hicks was appointed to get done the heavy lifting for a NASDAQ quote. So now its serious decision time for Avacta ......they will have to show the world the colour of their money and does that mean NASDAQ, or investment partners, or a sale? I guess the choice of CFO depends on that and certainly not on the DX sale which by comparison is an irrelevance. It's decision time folks and that bizarre interview where one of the US's leading oncologists names Avacta 12 times was no coincidence.

Third in Avacta's pipeline is AVA 7100 .....Third Gen pre|CISION® FAP Affimer® (AffDC).

Do you get it? The third generation needs Affimers and Bill Bachovchin new this years ago and that's probably why he licensed pre|CISION to Avacta. He said last year that AVA6000 is just the very first step.

And that's exactly why one of the biggest pharmaceutical company's in SK have gifted Avacta 24% of their startup .....Affyxell Therapeutics.....they need Affimers.

I doubt anyone in London cares about a "statement of company's objects" so I'm assuming it's ticking another box for NASDAQ. And I'm also assuming we'll hear something that's going to clear the muddy waters by Thursday 16th Jan.....the week before the next payment.

Just imagine one of America's most prestigious journalists published an article interviewing a leading MSK oncologist talking about pre|CISION and AVACTA, mentioning the company no less than 12 times.....with emphasis that it was a British company.

Just imagine what the impact would be in the next day's UK press?
