As colour posted earlier it does look like CC may be thinking of setting up manufacturing base in the Maharashtra industrial corridor - which from what i have read is the main point of Uday Samant visit to UK, to encourage UK semi conductor and IT company's, car manufacturers, etc to manufacture in India, and supply India, and export abroad on very good terms.

Yes, good to see revenues increasing, which is most importNt but I'm less impressed with everything else. Its pretty much a continuation of last year from now on, which is suck it and see what happens time again.

Just hope the UK awards of contracts crank up a few gears this year.

"Genus Power Solutions Limited, G.M.R. The bids were submitted by three companies namely Smart Electricity Distribution Pvt Ltd and Polaris Smart Metering Pvt Ltd. Bids opened at 11 am on Thursday. The lowest tender is Rs 3475.16 crore. This amounts to a total of 37 lakh smart meters. 9500 per meter. The base price fixed by KSEB is Rs.6000. According to this, the tender value is only 2400 crore rupees. Hence, reverse tender was entered into to reduce the amount. The three participating companies will have the opportunity to quote the minimum amount online till 11 am today"

Can anyone interpret the numbers below for me. On the face of it, it looks like, under Herald Investment Trust, a portfolio change ( sold) of approx. 11% of holding BUT, the overall percentage held by Herald remain the same at 6.7%.

Is Herald the recent seller, or is this just numbers being moved around, but there is a obvious reduction of holding of again, approx. 11%.

Cyan confirmed that on 9th May 23 Herald Investment Management Limited owned : 18,205,869 / 6.7% of company.

According to Fidelity list of top five Cyan holdings on 31st May 23 they state

Herald Investment Management Ltd owning 17,029,399 and ..

Herald Investment Trust also own 17,029,399, with a portfolio change of approx. 11%

However, both Herald vehicles remain to hold 6.27% of company

To a lay person like myself, it looks like the Herald Trust holdings are now being counted in two vehicles, and not just one as in Cyans accounting.

Howevever this 11% change does equate to the reduction from 18,205,869 to 17,029,399. How come the total holdings remain the same at 6.27?

Thanks for the recent posts. Keep it up. Its a hard slog at present as FDBK are not making any comments on progress, and its very hard to find any third party views on the state of play in UK, or India , to balance this lack of news.

It was the 16th June last year we received the year end trading update, so could be anytime now or next week.

During the previous year had two main rns'd highlights and they both involved QVH, so to balance this going forward to counter the looming trading update, i think an rns in the next few days of some positive news would be very welcome indeed.

I will understand if its political, if there are delays outside their control etc as these things happen with government contracts but it is the company's responsibility to communicate with its investors, and put us at ease that the fundamental solution that FDBK provide are still valued highly in the circles that matter.

I have has several very long "lock ins" with company's like cyanconnode, and way back in vidiologic , which changed its name to Imagination technology and both had amazing technology, ahead of their time ...and both sps collapsed, on lack of revenue - yet recovered very handsomely over about 5-10 years because the technology was so good, and required. Cyan is only now , on the cusp of attaining what it set out to do in 2011, when i first invested.

I hope FDBK have the right technology for TODAY and not 3 years down the line, as i am getting older and my timelines are getting shorter :).

Something will appear in next week or so.

Just over a year ago Cyanconnode did a deal with the India trade commission for £5 m .

Do Cyan manufacture in UK? I thought Modi wanted strictly " Made in India" .

Just an observation but in the Genus article below entitled " Genus Power Infrastructures: Serving Society Through Industry" it does state

" The production capacity ( Genus) is more than 10 Million Smart Meters per annum and is upgradable to 12 -25Million within a short time span of 3-4 months".

Genus Obviously, already prepared to meet any challenge given to it in India as far as meter production is concerned.

Its still early days, the obvious major risks of FDA approval is now out the way , but for many I think evidence of revenue in UK, is crucial, and data has not yet been published, so we can all speculate what an outright blockbuster it is, but in the cold light of day, when the right time comes, I hope FUM take their time, and publish excellent revenues in UK , admittedly this data will over a short time span, with limited outlets (to what is hoped for in future in UK) but it will be the first real evidence to base some calculation of future growth.

The first data on revenues could be enough to light the fuse long before product selling in USA or other, if excellent, everyone will extrapolate across Europe, USA etc for future revenues BUT we do not have this information presently..so still an unknown quantity.

investing now could well be the best time IMO, but will still depend on the data released as its a two edged sword is data, and if, for whatever reason does not impress then may have the opposite effect....but even if data not impressive enough , this can still be rectified over time with experienced BODs IMO.

I think its a done deal in the sense that if data good, share price will reflect future potential even if not selling products in most countries. If data disappointing / bad, the share price will reflect this, and the company will be taken over by some entity who has the knowhow to squeeze every bit of juice from this product. Just my thoughts and could be wrong.

If you look what the papers are covering in the USA today, Eroxon seems to be covered in most the big online papers.

What surprised me was the comments about timing to market is unknown at present, but possibly the product will not be on shelves in US until 2025. If this is true then anyone know why it could take approx.. two year to start revenues ?

I would have thought discussions with US distributors would have been made, and be well advanced prior to FDA approval, so that the early stage discussions would not hold up the product launch....its hard and very expensive to get this type of advertising and if we have to wait till 2025, the impact will never be the same.

I interpret todays news like this, and its basic.

The positives

The FDA has approved the offering in USA ..and all that entails in one of the biggest, wealthiest markets, plus FUM have received approx. £4 million in cash by diluting the shares base by approx. 11m shares..

The negative

To pay for the above good news investors will take an approx. 11m share dilution to the company's value .

A company with at approx. 300 m shares in circulation , there will be 11 m added! Which is about 3 % , of company which at todays share price is about a 1.5p, knocked of the value of a company that at present has not shown any revenues.

The real value the market is looking at is not in the FDA approval, or UK approval, or any one else's approval...but in what FUM do with this approval from now on?

Will they F*&ck it up, choose a bad distribution deal, will product flop, will bad promotion let the product down - these things can sometimes happen when a good product is managed badly.

So IMO , the real sp rise in FUM will only arise when the company can demonstrate, consistent, regular increases in

revenue.....because if FUM can demonstrate that they can continue to grow revenue, then they must have everything else covered. That old saying that "many a twixt between cup and lip", is true.

Same as you can only really judge a cake by eating it, you can only really ever judge a company is successful once they demonstrate increasing profits....so FUM need more time IMO, to demonstrated they can milk this opportunity, and attract more longer term investors. GL All.

Just to add that according to CC Assam have sanctioned and awarded eight packages in total.

At least four of them, Genus have set up SPVs, just a few months ago !

It seems Genus Assam Package 5 SPV Ltd was incorporated this year, Jan 23 along with Genus Assam Packages 2 & ,3 & 4 at different dates , but all this year. All four SPVs have the same Directors elected in February 23.
