Maybe it's something to do with specification IS6444 which was amended last year and regarding the eesl 5million meter tender ...according to some "None of the companies except Genus has the necessary technical specifications and IS 16444 certification from BIS, which pertains to smart meters,� said an industry source. If correct then L&T did not have the right BIS certification ....but still won the tender before losing the reverse tender !!!....in the link I provided Kalkitech are praised by L&T for helping them conform to IS16444. Life here is confusing enough without the added mysterys of BIS certification and that's before even considering why L &T needed Kalkitech expertise in specification IS 15959.....and IPV6 6LoWPAN.

Yes extension of the high volume order plus new tech .over 18 months ...a muted response so far....many were hoping for a little more but posative non the less. Looks like we need china or elswhere to provide the big contracts short term....lets see what comes out in the pr andt the press.

Morning All. Hi Tony. Any idea who is funding the Mysore rollout. I'm a bit behind on detail. It does sound like there will be a Mysore rollout sometime just wondering who will be funding it? Is this a unknown or does someone have details of likely funder. Mysore pilot was a success yet kicked off in 2014 from memory it's Due a bit more attention now, surely.

My understanding and please correct me if wrong is that EESL are sanctioned to replace all 250 million Conventional meters as part of EESL's SmartMeter National Programme, to be completed by Mar 2020. That's 50 X 5 million meter tenders over next few years.....and beyond more likely. Shame.

I notice the EESl tender mentions something about the most recent tender being part of "a pan India" initiative or something along these lines......imagine how much love would have been on this board if CC were part of the pan India tenders....imagine the amount of ties being bought...at least six lol

From memory I noticed L&T won an award for rural meetering ....anyone know the details of who was involved in that piece of work.....it's great CC won this award, like so many others....but an award is just that, an award.....an order is an order. ..income from a order is what is desperately needed. ..... I used to get excited by the awards....buthe the only thing that will enthuse me at this stage is a large amount of money hitting the balance sheet....not my money but someone else's. ..

Morning Tony. I'm up and off to work. But I thought the hardware / software mix was 20 / 80 % .....so CC will only be receiving 20% of any hardware sold in next year or so.....just trying to guess how much of the �100 million orders that are not delayed , could possibly bring in, re: hardware revenue over the coming months ......assuming they have started....big assumption. ....the answer is .....no one knows A) how much hardware we are talking about b) what date this hardware will start bringing in revenue.......but we have over �100 million of confirmed orders.....why can't CC take a loan against the �100 million confirmed orders.....or at least the half that have not been delayed and are confirmed for deployment....say �50 million....the loan would be for two years until the entire 100 million orders book is completed in 18-24 months, so we are told. ....then yearly revenue would kick in...must go, time for some northern line fun.

I think in short I'm trying to say....when is the money for the hardware relating to contracts that aren't delayed likely to start poring in...approx 50 million of the total 100 million order book is still active and and should be being deployed soon.....with a promised to be completed date of 18-24 months...how much of this is hardware .....must be around 20% surely., so �10 million.....the key and missing point Is that we have been informed of the end date for deployment but Not the start date.....so even if told completed in March 2020.....they may not start deploying hardware until March 2019.......interesting they felt confident enough to to confirm end date via rns but not the all crucial start date.....

I'm confused.. We were informed that the CC order book at this time was in excess of �100 million. We were then informed a few paragraphs down that "Outlook The Company remains confident that the hardware element of its current order book will be fulfilled over the course of the next 18-24 months, with software being installed alongside" So is this �100 million being deployed now? Let's say �25 million is the recent delayed order, and �25 million is the delayed uk smart order...that leaves �50 million ...if they are hoping to have it ALL fulfilledin 24 months ..so March 2020....then payments for the hardware for the remaining �50 million must start appearing soon surely....even if only say �12 million of this is related to hardware then that's 500,000 a month in hardware for next 24 months.....this obviously had not yet started when results came out but must kick in soon.....if this is so then it's not enough but once uk smart begins in say six months ....may well just do it........if this a where near accurate...then CC need to be honest and reassure peeps....the longer they remain silent the more suspicious investors will become. Apologies if my numbers are incorrect but don't have much detail lol

Hey Wooley, If it wasn't a Wednsday tomoz I would guess that with a near 12% spread in place for the morning then an RNS is quite possible. If it's bad then they're well positioned for the inevitable sells and likewise if good, they have the ASK already on the up.....lucky tomorrow is a Wednsday and along with the fact that I'm clueless.

If they had collapsed the spread before last orders ....I doubt it would have been such a happy ending to the day lol

Most interesting thing here today is the pregnant spread....it just gets bigger and bigger....so up 2% with a near 12% spread....

What do we know about this order? Absolutely nothing it seems....so hard to judge what upfront payments could be made, let alone the size. Delays not connected we are informed to either CC or partner...so neither have little control over timeline of delay....or so I imagine. Anyone have anything to add regarding the eagerly awaited deal...identity, country or size? Not trying to be impossible here but our main hope of any cash seems to depend on this mysterious order....and even if comes good may be to late.

I'm pretty jaded...and waiting to see what happens next...but been here since 2011...I think. I've seen this film before and remember how it ends....my only hope is that its the directors cut and the ending is different this time....but that's looking unlikEly. What are the chances of a massive order landing at exactly the right time to save a fund raise....pretty slim, but not impossible. ..but an order with enough money up front to avert a raise....is probably asking to much...GL

Morning Poacher. Pretty much what I was trying to ask yesterday..but without the numbers.....what possible financial relief could CC hope to expected over next 6- 9 months? It seems there is a black hole between now and then...and we're heading into it...unless JC pulls a golden rabbit out, were heading for a cash call at an all time low sp. ...and I think everyone is expecting this...I honestly hope something material is released shortly...to at least protect the sp a little before this happens. But what could that be? History tells us that good news, if it can be found is more likely to arrive just before a cash call...so any good news may be tainted ....
