Tony. The UK contract is a good example. The contract was announced and awarded several years ago ....and we're still waiting for the income ! CC have to disclose contracts awarded.imo ..but don't know about whether they are obliged to announce the date of start of any income from a contract....and that's JUST he UK......imo that has been / still a issue that we have all learnt over past years ....a tender being awarded does not equate to imminent increase in income...it's yet to be learnt whether a tender awarded actually produces any significant income in some cases....lol

I think it's all down to the spread....it was 8% plus early doors ( 11 -12 p) and slowly reduced as the day went on ....but significantly the spread at close is still twice the minuscule sp increase...if they had reduce it ( the spread) a bit more at close the sp increase would have vanish......also makes it nearly impossible to identify what are sells and which are buys ....imo

According to link just posted Senior Vice Presidenthe of L&T is saying L&T current order book is showing delivery of approx 4 million meters over next 6-7 months in India ....doesn't mean CC are involved but pretty healthy numbers....with those sort of orders in place, and we know it does not relate to EESL ...why mention CC small and relatively insignificsnt deal...

Hi LT That quite a difference in price . It's hard to imagine a meter for 999 let alone a smart one. Looks like that price will remain an aspiration. WhatREC need is a company to provide the communication under some sort of white label deal... I've read somewhere of extensivery projects in remote villages using green technology and grid where data is uploaded ( not ideal) by satellite and put on cloud so utility and users can view usage on a mobile phone app....they train a local to do all repairs and local village leader in charge of ensuring customers pay on time using mobile app....local leader represents utility and given free sun beds lol...they are now looking at adding iot plus water meters plus plus ....things moving fast it seems in India ....at ground level even though not obvious from here. Gl

Morning All The REC empanelment list has Been around for over a year ...and yes CC are listed. REC could be very interesting and is esponsible for village rollout of electricity supply amongst others which I understand is nearing completion of targeted villages. Once supply is connected then they will have to consider meetering the supply and usage .. why else have a empanelment list. There could be very big opportunity here but who knows when....it will have to be cheap.

As you can see Only Genus and Analogics were deemed technically competent to go through to the envelope round. You will also notice CC were involved along with Genus and Analogics and many others in the pre bid Q&A in December 17. My question to all is does this mean CC were in competition with Genus, Analogics et al ( as they fielded their own questions) or could they have been partnering with Genus but allowed to field their own questions. If CC were tendering alone then here is a first example of CC not winning a known tender....but CC already have a relationship with Genus ! ...so why were CC seemingly acting in their own right, in the pre bid Q&A round ? I hope some of this makes sense.

Yes but as you get older (I'll be 108 in a few months lol) the meaning of short term is counted in weeks....just as Longterm ( apologies LT) ..is a euphanism for NEVER ..or in another life....if they mean short term could be in another 12 months ...then we're in a lot if trouble ...but that's nothing new. They did say in trading statementerms "we expect to secure additional orders from this pipeline in the near term.". .....near term in my book is in next month or so...they should not use language like that unless they mean it ...so should expect at least two orders in next few weeks...imo
