Just repeated post with new thread. The latest order from LT. Is for up to 250, 000 points with a two year rollout and a service agreement for five years. From memory at a cost of $3.5 million to LT. Anyone know how this is broken down ...how much up front and how much PA over five years ( I assume from end of two year rollout?). Is this the 80% software as a service model? If so I guess $700, 000 for installation ( over a two year period) and $2.8 million over 5 years for software liscence. ...so just over $500,000 PA after year two as income? Does this sound correct ?

..better have the party now , just to be on the safe side....if the glue has dried we could ask Stedon if we could hire his new boat...it holds just Stedon, at a push...we could take it in turns or the rest of us could just hang on alongside

Morning Chaps. One thing for sure Fincapp not expecting anything from Bangladesh or Iran this year ...so you can rule them out for the time being.....although anything is possible and l or Fincapp get it wrong. "our forecasts do not include anything from Bangladesh and little from Iran"

Hi LT, Im suprised that with a confirmed $100 million order book ( Jan 18) and apparantly growing, and when you consider the amount of time that will be required to scope each project etc that CC have not received anything in the way of up front payments from these orders ...even if only a token gestures of good will and commitment. Maybe that's not the smart meter industry way...a good example is Iran and Bangladesh as we are told that CC are working on the ground testing things out ( cant remember what they called it ) ...but still costs CC money ...which you would expect a payment ....as the actual date of rollouts in these country's is a unknown and unpredictable.

The sales pitch is "get a smart meter" and "save Money".....if you do it properly ...you may save enough money each year to buy a Pizza .....maybe we should pardner with Pizza Express, we may just get somewhere..:)

OK. I stand corrected. There are a handfull of AIM company's that have reached over a £ billion turnover snd joining the ftse 250....Asoss, pizza Express, Mears, etc. So it has been done before. So all we need to do now is start charging for our services :)

Evening Tony, just passing the time really, but ...can you find a company listed on AIM or FTSE that went from loss making to Over a � billion in say five years......there may be several examples, but can anyone name one? Finncap have told their investors that this is the story here....

Evening Stedon, I'm not sure I like the consequences of this...for one thing it's going to spoil the easy to read and familiar CC share graph ...especially the 5 & 10 year ones ...there will be this ugly line shooting UP at 45 /90 degree angle and they will have to add some more space at the top to get it all in. On the human side I'm not sure any of us are psychologically prepared for the site of a sustained rise back to 30p.......it's going to cause all sorts of problems...including possible strokes....some of us may be made redundant., or more likely redeployed ...CC would be THE AIM success story ever ( we maybe asked for tv interviews as there's only about eight of us here....and two of our gang are the ones buying the bloody shares). Imagine in just a few more years CC will go from a �11 million loss to a profit of �1.4 BILLION .....and that number is limited to country's that Were known in 2017....apparently three more territories opened up recently....that's got to be another inch in the graph or a �billion.... I really do hope it comes good for us all.....I hope you get you money back, Multi gets his two bagger ..so he's back in the black..Tony doubles his �50 and I time it so right, keeping my cash in my hand, and jump in the week before the share graph gets wrecked. Are there any other examples on AIM where a company goes from nought to a � billion in a few years? Serious question.

I assume both must gave put a slide rule over the numbers to ensure they are at least within the realms of our imaginations.....from where I am sitting I find the numbers hard to believe ( I would like to) but it's the "few years" time that got me.....if even half true, there should be no more need for dilution, surely.

Not according to FinnCap..... "According to a recent FinnCap research analyst note, CyanConnode has the opportunity to generate �2.2bn of revenues from their existing markets, with an associated gross profit of �1.4bn. �This market will be worth billions in a few years,� claims Cronin. �We are at the start of a very large wave of both smart metering and IoT deployments.� If this statement is true, and CC have the opportunity to generate a �1.4 billion gross profit in just a few years time....you would think that CC could arrange some kind of loan, with a deferred interest, payable in say "just a few" years....

Tony Yes, CC in the EU but may decide to trade from India ...not sure if that will offer any protection .......India is an interesting case at moment as only recently signed a new deal to receive increasing amounts of Iranian oil. If India trades with Iran then they will instantly join the Chinese, Iran, Russia and North Korea gang .....if they fall into line then they will be able to trade US ..... I wonder which group they will prefer to belong too...lol Someone explained the whole situation very simply....said there are two electric wires ( one is the US banking system) the second is (the Iranian banking system). Your company , and everyone you trade with can only touch one wire...if you touch both, or one of your suppliers / partners or banks touch both , even if you are unaware ....then the US wire will be cut off....penaltys and along with no access to US business in the US or worldwide. Not sure how accurate the above is .....but if Europe continues to trade Iran....then surely they and all company's involved will be penalised by US....So Europe will get 100% of Iran and 0% of US ...

Interesting thought is that if Irans smart meter rollout ( Tavinar ) turns out to be funded by China ....then Iran could proceed without hindrance from the US.....I seem to remember South Korea were providing significant funding and a MOU with KEPCO to fund energy in IRAN.
