I seem to remember someone saying Audley failed to achieve a take-over and have now decided to move on. Is that true? But now more important than Hendersons, we have Richard Griffiths (who ever he is) building a very big stake (Blake Holdings) c. 20%. A few rumours on ADVFN that a take-over could come. I don't believe that is GVC's plan at this early stage, especially given they have yet to get the Market to value them correctly. I certainly don't want that to happen. I'm very happy with Kenny and the superb quarterly dividend, coupled to strong capital growth. Still very cheap for such a growth stock with the added benefit of the World Cup next year. I'm holding on tight having recently been adding. What do more knowledgeable investors think is going on?

Thanks Jibbo. Good article. Pressure pot ready to blow. Should get the Quarterly from Medusa this week. Let's hope it can give us some good news, perhaps including an update on Bananghilig thinking, Co-O mine vein thickness, improving cash flow albeit on the old mine (capex costs on Co-O ending), exploration drilling progress, copper asset monetisation progress. Potentially lots of news to break over coming months. But I guess the main focus will be on a firm date for the SAG Mill commissioning & production outputs & targets. Still a very cheap stock given 2014 potential

Bounced off support and now back on track. Many Dividends will be reinvested in more shares on 1st pushing the share price higher IMO.

Minor drop today due having gone ex dividend

Where was the contingency planning? Surely there will be lots of claims against them if people can't trade. The clear up mess will be far worst than if they had made proper provision for this know spike in activity. I have written to the CEO today as we all deserve an apology, an explanation, and compensation.

Hi Wondergoals. Surprised that interview with such a respected player has not generated more response. The margins on Medusa, even on an "all in costs" basis at over $2000 per oz would be enormous. Certainly make it easy for them to gear up exploration, proceed with the build of the second open pit mine at Tambis and complete work on proving up the copper assets. Plus reinstate the dividend. The change would be enormous and the SP would fly north! Fingers crossed he is right.

Anyone read the Pre Close Trading Update out this morning. Very positive, confident and bullish. Lots more to come. Just wait till this filters out into the press/commentators. Plexus is a stock to watch, follow & own IMO. DYOR.

Actually got to £5.50 on 100,000 ozs. 2014 it might achieve 200,000 ozs, so lots of upside not to mention other exploration sites including Copper. Sentiment will no doubt return once cashflow starts to roll in. New Mill/Plant must be very near completion.

Largely due to the sector being out of favour. Many in the sector are explorers and are running out of cash. They treatment is indiscrimanate Medusa is an explorer and producer. Medusa has no debt. It is self funded. It is growing from under 1000000 ozs pa to 200000 ozs pa and from one mine to two. See strong RNS today. Doubling production at Co-O has meant building a new mine in effect and this has reduced output whilst development ore is processed. The refurbished mine & plant is nearly complete. Grades will increase, costs will fall even further and production will more than double. This game changer is not yet fully understood. Value will be restored this year IMO

All on track for 200,000 ozs pa from Quarter 3 this year at word class costs. Then full speed ahead on buiding and self financing the second 200,000 oz pa mine at Banaghilig. Not aware of a better gold producing investment especially at these crazy prices. We were at c. £5.50 when gold was c. $1000 per oz and Medusa was producing 100,000 ozs. What price by end 2013? £8 or perhaps £10. DYOR

Well our friends in Australia realised what a great RNS was put out yesterday. The grades were fantastic and they have more than enough to be going on with without worrying about weakening at the western edge. The shares were up over 13% last night. We have the interims coming. The margins are so massive with Medusa that a fall in the price of gold makes little difference to profitability. Chip on ADVFN has calculated the following EPS using different Gold prices for FY 2014 (June) $1350 - 65p $1450 - 71p $1550 - 78p $1600 - 81p Very much a case here of buying low. What will we be saying in June when we look back at SP under £3!

Mainly to do with Miners being out of favour IMO. Medusa continuing to do what is says on the tin with Interims due out. The real sit up and take notice event will of course be completion of the new Co-O plant in June/July and real ramp up in production in H2. This coupled with higher grades (Stope Ore) and lower costs should see us re-rate in my book. Plus perhaps Internal BFS on second mine to add icing to the cake. It is a game of patience and faith unfortuanetly.

Nice solid announcement with dividend increase. Has been a long term hold for me for growth & income (c. 5%)

Reassuring RNS this morning, both in terms of Typhoon and confirming all on track for "game changer" in production. Hopefully we will get confirmation that the Saga Shaft is complete before Xmas. Very silly SP given production ramp up over next 6 months IMO.
