I agree, Porsche's are very special. I've visited their museum in Stuggart and got to understand their ethos. It really is about building a car for the driver. Nothing else matters. If it doesn't add to the driving experience it isn't required. I think there are very few who have that total obsession and focus. It tells when you drive a Porsche.
I must say I think the Caymen (Flat 6) is just as good, if no a tad better than the 911, and a lot cheaper, but for me it isn't really practical. Grand children etc.
I have driven Mercedes since I collected my first new E200 Estate (W124) from the factory in Stuggart in 1988. In those days they flew you out, put you up in a nice hotel, then the following day you toured the factory. Your car was handed over in a LeMans type line up along with all the other cars for collection that day. What any experience.
I then drove the new car back via the Black Forest with an overnight stop. Back in Blighty the car is commissioned to the UK with the German plates removed etc. I've owned about 12 Mercedes over the years but nothing now very new as I still prefer the old ones. The new ones are not really that different to many other cars and seem flimsy and have lost that specialness. BMW's (I have had two new ones recently) are even worst.I might be tempted to buy a Mercedes 190E Cosworth 2.3 if I could find a good one.

The new one (Mustang) is just a 2.3. Doesn’t sound very Mustang like.
Like the Cayman which has said goodbye to the flat 6, perhaps you need an earlier model.
I’ve never driven a Mustang. I love the looks but always assumed the handling etc was a bit American.

I agree with you that much of the trial mining that is going on at the various sites may well be more to do with maintaining the licences than much else. If we get more director buys, I fear that means we won’t get any news for a while.
I expect news will start to flow once we get past the holiday season, so I’m not expecting any more director buying for now. But who knows.

Good spot John & yes a great car Paul. They certainly went up
in value over recent years. A couple of months ago I sold my Triumph Vitesse Mk11 Convertible which also was not getting used anything like it should.
Must be an age thing.

That makes sense - extra costs etc. But I suspect there will be a lot more than 11,000 ozs there but that needs a drill
programme. It is obviously a long time since they lifted a shovel or drill bit at this location- perhaps 6 or more years!

I have to say that from the Twitter photos it looks like they have already achieved a lot.
Quite a large area has been clearer and rock accumulated.
Presumably they are very encouraged by what they are digging out here.

ADVFN seems to suffer at times from posters with strange agendas. Whilst it would be nice to attract a few more posters the debate here is constructive and helpful .

Hi John - out of interest who have you emailed? If I was being finicky it would also be interesting to know how much it cost and what are the expected benefits in financial terms. But I'm sure that is expecting too much detail. We no doubt need to trust them to get on with the business and that it was the right decision and in the best interests of the Co.and therefore shareholders. I'm sure it was a no brainer, but I guess I just hope it doesn't impact or delay any anticipated drilling opportunities.

As you say is looks pretty well complete. I also recall Kerim's comments at theAmerican Square Investor's evening.
The only point I would add is that it benefits the Red Rabbit joint venture and as such any contribution would not just come from Ariana but Proccea as well.
I suspect that the benefits are considerable and that as announced recently in the Tweet, they have just wanted to get on with it.

Pete - a poster on https://ceo.ca/ars.l - is saying that Bereneberg have issued a note on Asiamet - "a great endorsement". Unfortunately his link doesn't work for me.

I believe throughput capacity was 150,000 tonnes but this went up to 180,000 tonnes and last quarter actuals was c. 48,000 tonnes. So perhaps 200,000 tonnes is the new capacity amount.
A new Ball Mill would be priced around £750,000 not £700,000 I believe, not as I said earlier. Sorry.
Michael de Villiers is up to 50m shares and I think that was his target. It would however be great to see Kerim buy some more, but he is a family man with lots of commitments no doubt. I suspect news flow precludes any further director buying for now, but I may of course be wrong.

John - plant capacity- I think you are right.
7000 ozs plus per quarter through the single ball mill!
Kerim told me some time ago that they could buy a second ball mill for about £700,000, but we need to grow the life of mine to over 10 years imo. I agree the BRR webcast was better than Proactive.
I suspect there is more outside the JV but areas perhaps not yet formed up on.
I also agree that for sometime now there has been a buzz about Salinbas.
I suspect there will be news on the project work and hopefully those final Forestry Permits before Xmas.
But 2019 is hopefully going to be the year they let the Salinbas/Ardala elephant out of the room!

It doesn't need much to move the price.
I found details, by the way, of Ivrindi in the Admission document. You can find that on the AAU web site if you are interested.
Looking back through old RNS's (sad I know!) I found details of some very juicy grades (mainly rock samples admittedly) at Kepez west (8.32g/t to 46.86 g/t) and at Kiziilcukur (22 km NE of Kiziltepe) of up to 7.7g/t. Trial mining work is underway there and hopefully as proper drill programme.
As the satellite programme develops, perhaps they will be able to maintain high grade ore input. Who knows?

I’m not sure without further research what “in the vicinity “ means in terms of distance either, but I’m sure Kerim regards them as viable satellite operations which don’t need their own infrastructure.
I was just floating the idea and it may have no credence, but Kerim in the BRR interview didn’t seem to infer to me at least that Tavsan was getting all the focus.
Salinbas is the elephant in the room and it is clear Kerim is very excited to prove it up. Kiziltepe & Tavsan are just a means to an end as his main love is exploration & Development. If he thinks he has a Hot Maden in the making, you can understand why he just wants to get on with it. Shareholders have made it clear they don’t want a fund raising and have even told him they will accept a slower pace, so perhaps he is now looking at other ways to skin a car.
As you say the next presentation will be interesting. But hold onto your hats if Kerim gets the permits to do a drill this side of the winter. Could he pull that off? Lots going on as you say.

The BRR Media interview confirms Trial Mining work underway at Kizilcukur & Ivrindi. Both of these owned 100% by Ariana of course, but in the Kiziltepe vicinity.
Very exciting that Forestry Permits for the Salinbas drill programme have been approved at local level and now just waiting for Central (Ankara ) approval.
One gets the impression that they are very eager to start the big Salinbas drill programme asap. But it is unlikely to start as far as I know until spring melts the snows in N.E. Turkey. Perhaps they want to try and and get a drill in before the winter!
I also wonder if Kizilcukur & Ivrindi could push the focus on Tavsan back a bit, as there won't be the CAPEX costs associated with Tavsan. Perhaps this would allow more of the current positive cash flow to be channeled into Salinbas. Just a thought.
