RE: Interims23 Sep 2018 12:14
Hi - I expect you're all right - I'm being a tad optimistic!
Reference Kepez we were told at the American Square, London meeting on 8th May that Kepez is being brought forward. They have already secured the E.I.A. permit. Look at slide 27 of the May 2018 Presentation where it shows Kepez getting its Permits this year and starting production Q2 - 2019 through to Mid 2020.
"Environmental Impact Assessment ("EIA") extension granted recently to cover part of the Kepez North area; mining permit application process currently underway." - Taken from 8th May RNS
The global resource for Kepez is c. 371,000t @ 2 g/t Au & 14 g/t Ag for 23,000 oz gold and 164,000 oz silver. The new estimates represent a c. 270% increase on a gold only basis from the previous estimate of c. 8,800 oz gold.
Kerim said - This resource update for Kepez indicates the potential to add at least one year of production from this satellite area of Kiziltepe.
Also have a look at the RNS dated 12th November 2012 - "Exploration Update for Kepez West & Karakavak".
At this time they reported on reconnaissance drilling with the best intercept being 9.6m @ 3.02g/t Au. Grades from rock chips samples yielded results up to 9.77 g/t, 9.73 g/t & 6.3 g/t from sulphide rich quartz veins.
Hope that helps.
