Tom has bought more AAU shares today and considers it one of the cheapest gold plays. But Amorok remains his biggest gold holding.

I believe he sees AAU as a potential 10 bagger. He feels Salinbas will finally get focus once Tavsan is on line. That seems to make sense. In the past Salinbas was described as the "elephant in the room" . Now Dokwe is the "elephant in the room" but that does take away the potential massive upside that could also come from Salinbas. Tom thinks Dokwe could potentially be funded without dilution. With bonanza grades at Dokwe and potentially a lot more from the current drill programme the future for AAU is starting to look very attractive again. Then there is the potential to IPO WTR in the near future. I am beginning to think 1.6p is going to be seen as an amazing bargain price.DYOR.

If Oil does finally flow and GKP issue a confirmationary RNS, is there an expectation that the share price will rise to any degree, or will the market want to see months of steady state flow? Genuine question.

If you believe all the widespread predictions (many highly respected) that Bitcoin is going to the moon, then surely this is a master stroke of capital raising innovation. It that case seems like a win win. It’s not that the current Placing route is played out, it’s just looking at new ways so Bitcoin accumulation can be further accelerated. Be interesting to see how the “experts” view this.

Tom Winnifrith has already put out a very positive BUY Bearcast this morning.

He says the stock is worth conservatively 6p and perhaps as much as 10p.

I summary this is an impressive milestone and raise and should not be under estimated in my opinion. Rightly or wrongly, I put a lot of this success today down to the appointment of Micheal Atkins the new Deputy Chairman. Great appointment at a great time. Well done AAU.

Are we surprised they are raising potentially so much at the juncture? Could raise a max. of circa £7m.

Delivering on Tavsan timely is the big issue. Let's hope steady state full production isn't far away and dividends from the JV start to be paid in

short order.

Hopefully we will now get a lot more regular news flow upping the interest and keeping the kettle boiling.

oh that sounds good. mustn’t get ahead of myself - plenty of room to be disappointed , but equally plenty of room for real progress if they can get through this challenging period. we can’t forgive them the **** ups but taking on a new guy at the top to support strategy etc. was a move we have all been crying out for. and it is great they finally took notice. probably have to keep mdv on as he owns too many shares.

but fingers crossed this is the start of a new chapter.

I ‘m hoping we are going to see more professionalism and business creditability now they have taken on Michael Atkins as Deputy Chairman. I suspect he will bring a great deal to the table and could be instrumental in turning this round and actually realising true value. Just a hunch but I liked his CV.
