Not very straightforward those documents also suggest not all the patent claims are novel something that is required to be granted a patent so looks like it is a long process to sort all that out. Makes you wonder why cap-xx ever went to court.

An update on the actual products must be soon can they release the products before the patent is completed or is filing the application sufficient.

So what does it mean when they say cap-xx has secured patents in 150 countries in the extract below from 2023. Sounds like they have them but your information suggests they have to apply to each country.

Parkez have you read the International Preliminary Report on Patentability Chapter I for both the smt and binder patents. Be interested to hear your thoughts on the documents findings and how cap-xx will progress to the next stage.

Is that the 15m surprised it made any difference with the recent 300m purchase.

The manufacturing assets would cost $50 to $100m to replace and GC thinks cap-xx is undervalued. If they start making profits first time ever what is a fair mcap with Gelion currently £40m.

I don't think anyone knows parkez things are moving quite quickly now they look like existing products but did you see the reference to nano structure

A short while ago I often checked cap-xx stock on digikey website which seemed to move very slowly with 1000's in stock. Just checked today and they have zero stock. Seems odd to not have any stock of any type but if it's correct they've sold the lot and haven't been able to restock yet!

I can't figure it out customers have had sample products for sometime now but they've never been on general sale just enquire only. Maybe customer orders will be allocated due to demand I'm not sure if they've had previous orders weren't the spire health tags a thinline product.

This is from September 2023 sounds good like near to orders but where are we now on dmh, 3v and smt. Also i didn't realise digikey sales occurred back then thought they said something about these next results being the first. Seems a few knowledgeable people here might share some good updates as recent details on these is hard to find is it all confidential due to a recent design win. Something going on with the big investors coming in what do they know.

SEPTEMBER 2023

I am pleased to report that the development and broadening of the CAP-XX product range remains broadly on track, with the commissioning of the DMH production line at Seven Hills expected to deliver samples before the end of the current calendar year. We expect volumes to ramp up by early in the next calendar year. Several customers are in the latter stages of sampling these products for potentially high-volume applications, and feedback on customer evaluation is encouraging. The DMH product is a very thin (0.4 mm) supercapacitor suitable for numerous applications in IoT, Medical, Telecommunications and Industrial sectors.

In addition, the long-awaited 3V supercapacitor product is able to be produced in volume and is currently being evaluated by several potential large volume customers. These are anticipated to be realised in the second half of the current financial year.

Finally, the development work on the cylindrical surface mount device (SMD) is nearing completion with production trials underway. The SMD device offers customers supercapacitor performance in a form factor that is more suitable for many automated manufacturing assembly lines. These new products are expected to deliver significant sales gains as we achieve design wins over the coming year.

To ensure that we maximise the benefits of our existing product range and new products, we have also expanded our distribution network. Digikey was brought on as a distributor in April 2023 and to date has processed over 50 customer enquiries and sales.

See below they all use cap-xx technology but somehow pay no royalties. Never got told what happened to these agreements.

Hopefully with direct sales they're taking customers away from these now.

During FY 2019, the Company signed new non-exclusive license agreements with the TDK Corporation of Japan (TDK) and Cornell-Dubilier Electronics Inc of USA (CDE), which contain royalty rates in line with those agreed with Murata and AVX. The Board believes that the addition of TDK and CDE will further increase the Company's royalty revenue and increase the adoption of CAP-XX's intellectual property globally and across new markets, while providing further evidence to customers, competitors and investors of the importance of CAP-XX's intellectual property.

I see thought you meant 6p but 0.6p while still +100% from here is looking very possible.
