What do people make of scanport ltd?
No prior experience in security or the corporate world- entrepreneurs
Intermediaries or partners? yet they are the main contract holders, and wsg have started work before signing the contract?

WSG should move into quasi military type airport security as in Somalia or Iraq imho

Btw if Hargreaves hale invested in the knowledge of Iran as the location then at least they made an informed choice. They were however guilty of insider trading.

In our case we were not told the location and this was juxtaposed with a completely inaccurate presentation of the risks. It breached an ethical standard and maybe a legal one. Tens of millions of pounds were at stake. It warrants a criminal investigation imho. Sir tony will give us case for the defence I am sure

PF gives no indication that he learns from past mistakes- extraordinary over exaggeration re the ferry, was followed by similar Iranian miscalculation. The lack of acknowledgement of of expired MOUs or insightful modifications to the business plan or even inevitable and meaningful updates on the non executed Iranian and African contracts mean PF is undeterred in his infallibility. Also he gets his salary either way

PF gambled with our money on the Middle East contract. The problem is that he abused our trust- we were not informed that it was Iran until after well signposted sanctions were implemented. It may be seen as reasonable on security grounds that there was poor disclosure, but then the associated low/ moderate likelihood of success should have been disclosed. PF did the opposite!

Consider what happened with the recent internal reorganisation at the Namibian airport company- the new ceo does not want outsiders managing airport security Btw regarding ages: PF is age 67 and balders is 68 We are in a holding pattern until PFs retirement- no need for new big risks/ scams. The internal reorganisation may mean a new CEO/ head management at the airport authority. Hence the contract was only unilaterally signed.
