In answer to your point about new warehouses etc. any investment in new warehouses is going to cost more money, the increasing profit talked about will be in the hopefully near future. Ergo, company is still expanding, so all good as far as I can see! There have been people saying that SuperDry's popularity is disappearing for the last 2 years, and, I have to say, that they are err .....wrong. GLA and hope for a good Christmas. (wonder how many people will get a SuperDry jacket for Christmas)

Hi there Badgers, long time no speak! Yes it has been a pretty traumatic year all round, however, and 'picking the bottom' recently has been fraught with danger. It has to change direction sometime, and you and I both know that there is little actually wrong with this company, everybody has just been waiting for it to change direction, but the rot always seems able to continue until people can't resist any longer. We have just been caught in a 'perfect storm' of outside news influences, slightly reduced increase in profits and a shorting attack that would have finished most companies. There is no reason for a company earning a few percent less than it was to drop 60%, so, I think we are now in for a bit of a treat in the next year with this, once the expansion and improvements take effect. I always say if you are 'not sure' you can always just buy half what you thought you might, then you can only be half wrong :) Regards, valveamp.

Hi Badgers, good to hear from you. 'print coming off their shirts and the colours always running' lol, someones obviously worried that they have missed the bottom :) Julien has stepped down as after 20 odd years he is weary of running the company, so that would appear to be the best thing to do for the company. He wants to concentrate on designing more great garments for the company, so, if he has the energy to do that then he should do it, and I look forward to more great clothes from him. Every company has struggled this year, for various reasons, and, if you look closely, you will see that SuperGroup is still doing better than most. So, yes it might go a bit lower, but I can't see it staying there, not at these discounted levels from the high of £17.50 odd earlier in the year. Day to day this share pretty much has a mind of its own. If you watch it too closely on a day to day level it will drive you nuts/lose you money. My advice is, put your money in, don't watch, go away and do something else for 6 months, come back and check, be pleasantly surprised.

Burberry just gave a profit warning, and their results are first quarter. :/

.....but I don't know many other companies that have turned in a stronger performance than this in the last year. Could be people are fearful of what happened after last statement , but when this starts properly on the up it could get very interesting.

Hi Badgers, I am feeling much better today. Having got fed up with the whole manipulation thing I've been complaining, at length, to anyone and everyone who would listen. It looks like whoever sold 100,000 shares yesterday @ 836 might be kicking themselves now, having got overconfident that they can push the price down whenever they want. This shows they can't do it forever, so why don't they just stick their money in and enjoy the ride back up with the rest of us. GL.

Yes look out for when they buy the shares back, later on it will be 2 x 5,000 or 2 x 10,000 or 2 x 25,000 share buys. Then when the price rises tomorrow morning the same thing will happen again, only the price will be slightly lower as a result of all the other peoples stops that have been triggered. Ladies and Gentlemen I give you share manipulation at its most obvious best.

Hi mate, there are two of the sells, I was on about, just gone through for 2 x 50,000 share sell at 10:34, if you look at the trades.

Seems like you are desperate to get the price to go down to £5.50 again, so that you wont miss out, like you did last time. I suggest you start buying a few now, so that you don't miss out again IMHO. Just trying to help you out here.

....so, if the price starts going up before then, you would get left behind and have to watch the price rise while you are out? Its the price at the end of the day that counts, as this is the price that all the long term charts use.
