Julien resigned his position as CEO, so that he could worry less about running the company and concentrate on the clothing design side. He had to sell some shares to pay off his wife. I would have married him I I'd know where this was going. :) lol
Going back down to 1.8, buy the dip. Company is now a PLC, starting to make money, so I'm not selling any, just buying the dips from here until Xmas. Seen this before with SOLG, it went down to almost 1p then went up to 43p, didn't happen all in one go though, so I'm not getting out after a 2p rise. IMHO DYOR.
Pokerchips Firstly, it's VALVEAMP not VALUEAMP I'd take you more seriously if you got my handle right. Many thanks for your replies. The one thing that you cannot deny is that mass immigration, by people from low paid wages, has had the effect of lowering the wages of low/middle paid British earners. This is the reason that big business likes it, because it lowers their wage bill. Now unskilled/semi-skilled workers can no longer afford to have a mortgage. This has also been compounded by the need for more houses, again because of immigration, which is pushing house prices up for the rich, of which I am guessing you are one, but taking the country back to Victorian times as far as owning your own home is concerned for the poorer branch of society in the UK.
Sorry Pokerchips, but I'm going to have to agree to disagree with most of what you've said.
1. Most leaders of European countries might want to remain in the EU, but 'the people' of most European countries do not want to remain in the EU. They can't control their borders while they are in the EU, so the EU is Globalisation.
2. 1 rule for 27 nations doesn't work. It only works for Germany, everybody else is tied to it and it adversely affects their economy as a result.
3. The culture of all of Western Europe is being eroded, by globalisation, and the EU is causing globalisation because it insists on free movement.
4. I didn't say it was Us and Them, I love Europe, but hate the EU. The EU is not Europe.
5. Yes, what is happening to their countries, it is based on being in the EU. Not sure how you can argue against that.
6. We survived perfectly well before the EU ever existed, we can again. True Brits don't need a 'safety net', especially not a totally corrupt one.
7. People voted to Leave because they believed that was the best thing for the country, and they have seen first hand the long term effects the EU is having on this country. Not because they were emotional.
8. Trump won't accept a bad deal, which, sadly, our leaders seem only to happy to. They don't want their gravy train to grind to a hault.
9. America now has the lowest unemployment for 20 years, the US stock market is the highest it has ever been. I don't know how anyone can look at what he has done and say 'he hasn't achieved much'.
I don't there is any way that we can make a deal with the EU. Trump tried for years as a businessman before he became President, and he said it was impossible. I think he's right.
David Cameron and Teresa May have not succeeded in getting any real concessions at all, certainly not enough to describe it as a 'deal'. WTO rules were set up so there wouldn't be a cliff edge if two countries didn't have a deal. Our politicians bow down to them constantly like they are our masters. The truth is as soon as we stop being their piggy bank the EU will fail. No European country likes what is happening to their country and the destruction of their culture, not even Germany, so I can't see how it can carry on much longer. We are the lynch pin, so we should have the strongest bargaining position, but clearly May is no Trump.
Charts are always going down....until they go up again. Of course we are all looking at charts, I wasn't using luck, guesswork, or tea leaves. No one really knows when this will turn around, but this isn't a bad place to be averaging down from. IMHO. Derampers will forever say it is going down to nothing, as it is 'such a bad share' DYOR.
HI Pokerchips, I am only expressing my opinion. I may be wrong, its happened before. But we shall see. I hope it does go down to £1 again, but it doesn't look that likely. Having said that support has been broken at £1.80 so next stop could be anywhere.
The way I am looking at it is, this share is connected to the Gold/Silver price. People move into Gold and Silver when people are worried about the future. With all the uncertainty with Brexit and Trump I think we will very soon see the price of Gold and Silver rise, and, if this is coupled with a hopefully good Drilling Report this could be a very good bet for good returns. Of course the doomsayers will say this is never going anywhere, but then that would be where you want to get in isn't it? The price is only dropping now as people often sell before an RNS, if they are uncertain, and because a lot of small investor's stop losses are being hit.
It said it on the Diary here this morning also, but I see it is removed now. Sorry if you've been mislead by what I said, but it definitely said that this morning I swear. They have only just changed the Hoc website in the last hour or so that I can see.
RNS due this afternoon. You could wait till after that, or you could buy now. It's at a two year low. Previous drilling reports have been pretty good. I think you'd have to look quite hard to find something else with this low risk, with such a big potential up side, but what do I know. DYOR.
I try to respect everybody, unless they disrespect me. I don't think anybody should be a slave. I used to work as a taxi driver, once I picked up an old lady, who most people would have described as a tramp. She was covered in tiny money spiders, but I still treated her with respect. She was so pleased that I bothered to treat her like a human being she took out her purse, which was full of money, and gave me a £20 tip. So you can never tell. As regards Brexit I really do believe that, if we did Leave on WTO rules, that no one would notice any difference.
That's true. They don't believe we should be able to vote at all. If we stay in the EU we will be forever slaves. They only let us vote to give the impression we have some control, but Brexit has proved what they think of us, and that they think that are above us.
