....and, if it goes to £5, no doubt you will be saying 'sell at £5, wait till it drops below £4...AM I RIGHT OR AM I RIGHT?
Big guys are only waiting until this changes direction, they haven't got a clue where the bottom is more than anyone else. If people keep holding off then it will keep going down, its a chicken and egg thing, simple as that. Rest assured they will put in, whatever price it starts going up at.
Volumes appear to be starting to rise dramatically. Its up to you but this could signify we are near to a change in direction. Consider buying in tranches, possiblly buying half your intended amount now, and holding back the other half, in case it drops further. DYOR. GLA.
Dunno! These are 'fell off the back of a lorry' prices now. If there was anything wrong with the company you could understand it, but there isn't. SGP would let us know if there was anything that would adversely affect the price. They are still in good profit and have no debts, so your guess is as good as anybody's?
Price has been pushed downwards, but the downward trend has set in and Its just falling under its own weight now :(
Yes, but maybe, if they are investigating this, they might wait until they have completed the investigations and have a difinitive answer before making an announcement.
Not sure, I haven't got L2 either. I don't think its an MM doing it. I would be tempted to think that whoever was shorting it might be doing it, who knows. The trades I'm talking about show up on the normal trades screen on here, so if I see one I'll let you know. I have a screen print of one from 5th June for 2 x sell 25,000 shares, £527k total! Who sells that many when the price was £10.54.
Hi Badgers, but the short is just one trade. What I am talking about is the persistant large sells that are occuring, which triggers a lot of peoples stops, then they buy back in smaller amounts late in the day so as not to cause the price to rise too much. Then the next day the same thing happens again. I have watched carefully and they normally come through in groups of 2 identical sells(or buys) 7 to 10 seconds appart. If you know the price is about to drop then fine, but if the sells are so large as to affect the price every time themselves with the actual trade its a bit below the belt if you ask me. Hopefully they will go away and annoy somebody else eventually. GLA.
Yes. 'Total Group Sales are up 12.4%, seasonally adjusted like for like sales down 1.3%, profits are said to be near the middle of expectation' in the last quarter. Yet the share price has seen a 50% drop!! This being the only news during the period it would be hard to imagine a more manipulated share than this one. We all know some manipulation goes on, but the callousness of this repeated and continual manipulation is well beyond what is acceptable IMHO. If you feel, as I do, that there is an excessive amount of manipulation going on here then report it to the FSA. I have, and they are investigating, but if enough people complain then it might increase the chances that they might do something about it. I have no doubt that they will 'let it go' eventually, at which point the SP might quickly double, but this whole episode has been very hard for small investors.
So we might as well all sell up and buy back in at the obvious low coming up of 2.45 (which is what the low actually was of May 2012), good idea....not! Profits are still good, SGP have sorted the logistical and accounting problems, and the final results are in 3 weeks. Looks like a good further buying opportunity to me, but the, after what we've seen the SP do recently nothing would surprise me.
I agree, it seems it is a bit too easy for the big boys to control. They know the ratio of the number of shares in circulation makes it relatively easy to manipulate, and they take advantage of that I'm afraid. Still, if you are able to sell and buy back in at a lower price you can make out of it in the end.
Hi rory, this doesn't look good at all. It looks like you may be right about it going to go to £8/£9. God knows where the support will be. I hope that whoever is doing this enjoys their new Ferrari and remembers how many small investors life savings they destroyed to get it.
Getting better, the downard movement definitely seems to be running out of steam now, not before time ;). I just found out that Julien Dunkerton got named Entrepreneur Of The Year 2013, I didn't know that, well done Julien. ATB.
But if people didn't set their stops so tight, this wouldn't happen, as they would not have enough clout to drop the price on their own. Then we could see the price fly back up to £16+. I think we have some real support around this area, so we could hold this IMHO.
Yes, but SGP has grown considerably. Sales are up, and still in good profit. It cannot be right that the SP can be just over half what it was 2 years ago. What to do?
Two identical sells 10:22:15 and 10:22:22 for 10,000 shares @ 1078.9p = 107.89k. They mus have some considerable funds to do this. Definite manipulation of the share price IMHO. Question is, are we going to let them win?
Looks like we have got some confident buying today at these levels. Looks good for a positive finish. Come on SGP!
We need to have a reasonable finish today, otherwise we'll be bouncing around like this forever at these levels.
Two identical sells 08:42:33 and 08:42:40 for 10,000 shares @ 1100.00p = 110k. Whoever is doing this is just trying to manipulate the SP make the stops trigger and make the price drop.
