Two further holdings notices issued at close of play today

Cash levels are much improved with the bond and the boost to liquidity in the electricity sector. With 64 million cash collected in one month, spending 2 or 3 million on buying back ( and cancelling) 32 million shares is a sensible move.

There have been various contradictory reports I agree, though there have been several bond issuances over recent months if you do some research. The committee has already offered 50% settlement so they certainly have cash earmarked. As I said before transparency could be greatly improved here but there is movement and some progress.

Guess the focus here going forward is the results of the arbitration ( it is assumed that the hearings/ submissions have all been finished and now awaiting a ruling and secondly how quickly the president's gencos committee put together a second offer for settling the receivables - since the gencos side appear to have unanimously rejected 50% settlement and the bond issuance appears to have been completed ( i.e. the cash has been raised). As ever with Nigeria, progress is slow and transparency could be improved.

In that case anyone attending the meeting will be at an unfair advantage??????

Remember Sidara is desperate to get it's sticky hands on Wood. It has been persuing it for years and has spent tens of millions already. Don't give them it too cheap

If it opens it will open at 40/45p plus..Sidara deal is dead imo.the cat t is out of bag with accounts restatement. I expect one of the 3 to make an indicative offer. Sidara does not want this to resume trading imo. They want the stitch up imo and no transparency. Imo. Why is this not trading already?????

Does anyone seriously think Sid will walk away if there is a no vote first time for 30p ????they will just come back with a better offer. They changed their arm with 30p after originally offering 35!. They will look ludicrous if they fail now. They have invested years of time and tens of millions to grab Wood. Don't let them have it for peanuts imo

I am more convinced than ever to vote no. I will wait for trading to recommence however Sidara have been both slimy and savage in their strategy. Vote no and make them pay 40/45p easily

They will not walk away. They are desperate to get their hands on Wood. They know Wood is a future GOLDMINE for them and will catapult them into a globally leading position imo.

Let's see. It really shouldn't take 3/4 days to press the relist button?? Does anyone really trust Sidara considering their tactics over the past year/ 18 months??? Does anyone really trust the board over the past year/ 18 months to do the right thing?????????

" we will now apply" has no time scale. My question was are sidara exerting pressure to slow application as they don't want share price to open above 30p??? That would completely scupper their scheming.

I will also vote no if after the next few days shares are not relisted. Simply unacceptable, as was the nine plus months

of suspension for the restatement of accounts

Also, there are so many sidara proxies on here spreading fear and doom scenarios. They want wood...they can easily pay 40/45p

I am increasingly moving towards voting no. This whole thing has been one long manipulation from the outset. As the chairman said shareholders have been treated badly (!!! lol) No cash/ in desperate need of capital ( they found 100m to p up the wall on this takeover. They paint the more dire narrative it won't wash anymore. 230m cash being received,/ 200m plus cash surplus on pension etc,etc, who are sidara trying to kid. They are going to clean up here and they know it. They are DESPERATE to get their sweaty hands on Wood. It will be a company maker for them and they will be unassailable in the industry. Let them up their bid. They will not want to lose the 80m? they have already spent on the deal ( if they are that tight).

Likely that the two other rumoured bidders are Worley and Apollo both of which fit bill/ have previously bid/ would be a perfect fit. Should get interesting from next week...

Marshall W were short just under 1.8%, at beginning of April. They have cut their short in half during the last month. That says something I think. They are not as confident as they were earlier on this year/ they shorted at much higher prices so not so critical/ they couldn't obtain enough shares to close shorts??? It says something certainly more positive than negative imo.
