To be clear, my post is not related to SAR, and it’s my answer to Shadow_Gunner’s question.

Shadow gunner - if I can brutally honest, it’s a huge risk, but I see some/quite high upside (how much upside is difficult to measure). It all depends on what they come back with re current work. There is good sentiment on the sector overall now (similar to pharmas) however, so likely to increase quite a bit before results. But, with the risk comes the reward so if you can afford to lose some of your stake, then worth going in at the current price. Put it this way, the price won’t stay static when news lands. It’ll either shoot up quite a bit, or tank to previous levels. So in many ways it’s a “gamble”, but a gamble which could be worth quite a bit. Please note however that for me, it’s a small stake there. Most of my money is tied here, SOLG and GDR.

Troajan- I guess even at 20% premium that would be at a spot price of approx $2400 at current spot. If we assume (unless anyone actually knows the AISC) sustainable extraction costs of $1200, then that’s a margin of 50%? Picking a figures of thin air of 100k ounces, that makes it £100m profit before taxes etc? Sounds decent to me if they find decent grades and AISC is not that much higher.

Mr Nation - if this good sells for $5000 per ounce, then the margin must be huge here. I mean, even if they mine 100/200k ounces, this could be huge for these guys sitting at £10m ish market cap? Plus the currently disappointing, but hopefully to be much better, Horse Hill production, then Greenland.... Seems to me that if they come back with some good grades from the initial work, this could easily move into multiples of current SP. Fingers crossed for all new and old investors

Grace - Alba seems a decent bet, need to do more reading on it but have done enough to make me feel comfortable for now. If they come back with good news on Clogau, we are quids in. I bought 5.5m shares today, so let's see. May add more, depending on how it goes.

I've sold all my GGP shares today as my target price was always 20p. Prob too early but it allowed me to top up a couple of others and buy alba :). Been in GGP on and off for a few years, but most recent purchase at 4.4p, so nearly 5 bagger in 6 months.

However, I am still holding on to my little beauties here though, and still think 70/80 is possible, and hopefully the minimum SP, on Val 201 results

Zoros - you make me laugh. £1 for GGP? Let me have a lie down as my ribs are hurting. The would make Hav a NPV of nearly £14bn. I don't think so, but hey, it's good to dream.

Grace - you bought some what? Bullion? Christ, I thought you were exciting...:). It's ok though, ALBA is the antidote of your bullion ....

Earthling - I have no idea how that is worked out, and if it rises then good luck to them. I am out so I have no further interest and would be happy for it to go up further. I personally wouldn't want to be there when it reaches £1bn, which it can with just another 3/4p rise, but I have sold plenty much too early and this may be another one. Still, 4.4p to 20p is not a bad return so happy with that.

No idea why people would sell now. I know this is hasn't moved much recently, but it's still quite a bit further than the placing price of 21p (which personally I am glad they had as it allowed me to add). I can see this creeping up 2/3% on a daily basis as see the back of September and into October. Then hoping for fireworks in October to December time. I am envious of some of your holdings though, but at £1 I would have made a good packet. GL to all

Re GGP - even when it's in the GDXJ, it does not mean that the "have" to buy it for the index, I believe. You can alway over or underweight certain stocks, or have some criteria which only captures the majority of the stocks etc. I was in GGP for quite some time and sold today at 20p. The valuation for me seemed on the heavy side based on the current stage and pre MRE. We will see I guess, but as they say, the the BB mood is euphoric, it's time to get out. Proceeds duly piled on Solg and some in a tiddler

Grace - I was wondering whether you had bought in. I bought my first tranche today, from the GGP sale proceeds. Will build a position over the next few weeks and let’s see what we have down there. I’m less optimistic than some here, but a hint of good results and I can see this doing very well, particularly at this market cap.

Justice2U - are you drunk? None of what you say makes sense.

they are hiding my buys of £5.2k and £2k today.

Schlemiel - Well done. I had a 20p target and also sold out this morning at just under that. There is plenty more here, but I always say, leave some money on the table for the next man. GL to all GGP holders, I hope this continues to rise for all.

Anselmo - what's your rationale for your statement? And why is anything under 0.45p a bargain? What's so special about 0.45p?

Do you know the cash position? Trying to sort through the info available but just wondered if you do. Thinking of dipping my toe in but stale size depends on cash position. Thanks :)
