I hope there is no RNS tomorrow. I’d personally like this to be in the high 30s, or even low 40s before news lands. We need the re-rate prior to he RNS, then a final push of 100% plus as the news lands and beyond!

Obviously that’s pretty unlikely to be the case for a long while, if at all. For now, we have the much awaited Val 201 results. 50p next target then 80p upon results

ST - what are the chances of that kind of money been thrown at Val? £100m is a lot of money so I suspect results have to be pretty good. That would certainly put a rocket up the SP’s ass though and make it a £200m company.

Good luck with DDDD everbroke. The comparisons made here are positive towards both, and I hope you do ok with DDDD. If Val only does half as well then that’s still a 5/6 bagger from here. But I’d be happy with 80p to £1 for now

If DDDD can add £65m to their mkt cap on their news, surely we can do it too if the 8mg dose stops the tumour growth? If the dose actually reduces it, I wouldn’t want to put a figure on the SP.

I second that Grace. Great bb. It will be very different on the day of RNS though. Plenty will turn up trying to wind people up or tell how this is s spike. I’ll stay away from the bb those couple of days around the RNS

Not sure why anyone thinks there will be an RNS on Monday to be honest. Need is due on September, it could be Monday, Friday, next week, etc. Point is, the longer you leave it the higher the likely entry point. I can’t see this dropping if I’m honest (well, not significantly anyway, and 1 or 2p here and there is not a drop. I expect this to cool down for a day or so before creeping up again. We should have a three bagger, at least, on decent news. Very good news and we should see this above £1. Val should be around £40/50m based on the stage of development and the current success of their drugs. Instead, they’re sitting at £15m, which is ridiculous.

Viera - enjoy your profits. I hope you make a lot more than the piddly £50k you already made ;);).

I’m waiting for my initial price of between 70 and 80p before I contemplate any tip slicing. But depending on news, may hold the full amount way longer and hopefully way north of £1.50

Completely different risks and good to have a diverse ptf, so definitely both. My best two shares this year have been Ggp and Val, although GGP is now safe as houses but with much lower potential return (I.e. it won’t return the same % it has returned so far, whereas my Val is where GGP was in Jan (price action wise). 2020 has been a horrible year overall, but at least GGP (and my other shares) have made up for it a little.

To be honest, I am personally ok and happy with a consolidation day. Even a few days of consolidation, before next leg up. Val has done this so many times, it was the same thing at 15p, then within two days it’s reached 25p. Give it a day of rest then another 30/40% rise. With news though, this could end up at a very different level. Personally I feel a 3 or 4 bagger is very likely ok good news from Val 201. Could be more if Suzi surprises us with progress on other fronts. All looking great here anyway.

I’ve added sclp to my watchlist though, and may dip a toe in a few months. But it does show the relative discrepancy in market caps between companies in the same sector. Good luck with that one (if you’re in) and good luck here.

Bojo - 6 months behind Val and valued nearly 3.5 times Val. Well, I know what I will be doing....

The results will speak for themselves when they land. I expect this to be at least 70/80p, and I am being conservative. The true value may be well in excess of £1. I mean, all you need to do is look at the market cap, compare with peers and you can immediately see that this has not even started its journey. Subsequent to Val 201, we have so much else to look forward to, including potential deal with large pharmas, and a nice upfront payment, to take 201 forward. Then Val 401, 301 etc

What people need to treatise with Val is that it’s significantly undervalued. Reason for this being the case is the terrible mismanaged (before Suzi took over), and the company should never have been valued at £4m. So up to £30/40m (which equates to approx 70p) this should be seen as a re-rate. Val has 4 drugs in advance stages, Val 201 being the next news expected any day. Almost identical news for DDDD added approx £50m to their market capital. So for me, Val 201 alone should have this at £50m. Add 2£20/25m for he other drugs and this is at a minimum £1.25

ST - I said some time ago that as soon as this start moving you’ll get all sorts of sour grapes peeps. It happens every time, and I enjoy it every time :). Steadyfast will continue to whinge and whine whether this is 25p, 50 and/or 150p. I am delighted when people make money, they invest it elsewhere, and the whole market gets moving. Money brings money, and a buoyant market is good for everyone :)
