I’m hoping we see 1-1.2p before news. Then 2p plus on news. The way this is going, 1p before news will hopefully be easy. Then God knows what news will do to it. So many different opinions here.... from 2 to 4/5p

CofE - Add to the winners and cut the losers. You will always be a winner if you do that. Averaging up as the prospects of the company improve is always a good thing. I agree with ST, the 1.1p warrants show confidence in the company. I have plenty here, and bought 1m to my already large holding on Friday. Will let the story unfold and will add more once results are out

Clogau - "Historically, the gold has been found in exceptionally high-grade pockets, with bonanza grades running from 10’s to 100’s oz/t Au."

Alba can process 3 ton/hr pilot plant which will be established on/near site. That's only a PILOT plant by the way, it can be increased in due course!

If they can get even 1 oz per ton, at 25 tons per day approximately, that would give 25oz per day, 550 oz per month, 6500 oz per year.

At net profit of even at $1000 (although Clogau achieves at a minimum double the spot price, so expected profit significantly higher), that's £5m profit per year. Add the premium for the clogau gold, add the fact that 1oz per tonne is probably the most conservative measure you can find (what if they can achieve 10oz or 20oz per ton???), then you have huge net income of between £20 to £50m.

Market cap- £24m.

P.s. this won't be 6/7p (like ST mentioned) today. But i everything goes Alba's way, then can see this being the case in 12 months time for sure. Short term though, 2p should be easily achievable. This is only my opinion, investments go up as well as down., DYOR, invest what you can afford and all that stuff.

JC - exactly, good post. We keep talking about Clogau, but Greenland could be huge. Look at Bluejay, £75m market cap and their star project is effectively our neighbour. And it seems our resources and/or quality of ilmenite could be higher/better. Add the graphite and Clogau to that and it’s easy to see why £25m is just the beginning

It can easily fetch 2 to 3 times normal gold. So prob around $5k per Oz, instead of $2k. Now that is insane if they can get that kind of spot price. The £750m which was given as potential value was based on the $2k spot price. Double the spot and that becomes an incredible £1.5bn potential value. Even if they find a quarter (£375m) of what is branded about then it still is amazing

Val has done so well already and good news and positive investor sentiment should see this much higher, if news is good of course. There is always a risk with any share, including Val, but without risk there is no reward. Pls only invest what you can afford. And any decisions to buy or sell are yours and yours alone. This can barely hold £1, let alone £2 or £4. Someone is adamant on selling at every opportunity, which is annoying. We need some blockbuster news for this as I see gdr as one of those companies which nothing but “out of this world” news would make a difference. Anything else and this will be sold down by those having suffered for months here. On the other hand, you have ncyt and avct which even if they release “the Director has had a fart”, the SP goes up. Ridiculous!
