Between that lot they probably have well in excess of 10% . Talk about bending the rules !
What I can`t understand is why they haven`t made a move . Perhaps they want Bloe to do all the heavy lifting , totally exhaust their recourses and expect to come back to the City for another cash raise , at which point they could up their stake and then pounce . In the mean time they may just be behind the silly share price , perhaps using A N Other to manage the daily dump and keep the price flat .
I would be surprised if the BoD`s and the Nomad did not know what`s going on , but in a sense it probably suits them to keep quiet for the moment . I`m hoping they have a master plan to `Blow` up the Jock`s skirts , but if the Jocks leave it too late , they might just BE too late and if drill results are really good , there may be many other interested parties .
I wish I didn`t have this nagging feeling of mistrust , because I would like to buy more but my cautiousness is saying to me `Don`t be too greedy , you have enough exposure ` !
As you have reminded me in the past Schlumberger have the keys to the safe , but for the moment I can`t help feeling that
that caution is the right stance .
~ And ~ there lies one of the issues : I expect a lot of people would like to buy , but they are also somewhat wary .
One day , probably on the day this shoots up 50% , we`ll find out the truth ! or maybe not !!

I can`t help feeling that there is something murky about this Company , although I suppose BH will have done their research whatever might be going on doesn`t really affect them .
Perversely , I am interested in increasing my gambling stake , but , possibly like the City , i want to see some proof to at least reduce some of the potential risk .
At 17m , plus , say a premium of 17m , I`m just amazed that someone has jumped in with an opportunistic bid .

Yes ~~~ Unbelievable !
As is the ridiculous market cap of 17M .despite a series of positive news release .
I can only think of two explanations:
* Looking at todays relatively few trades , a series of sells pegged the price . Are these sales by contractors paid in stock , or are they related to this `Concert party `who have some ulterior motive . I think the later is unlikely .
* The market has pathological distrust of this Company which is rooted in the PH `Fairy Tales` some eighteen months ago and will give zero credit , zero approbation until facts concerning potential, production and profitability are confirmed .
Very frustrating , let`s hope the drill bit triggers a change in sentiment .

Operational by the year end , profitable in H1 , perhaps even just post start up and a show piece for the whole USA .
That`s where the real money is , that`s where there is a real need , that`s where there is a fast growing awareness , that`s where there WILL be growing demand for power and action on waste , that`s where water is becoming a crucial issue , that`s where imaginative alternatives will thrive , that`s where there is a virtual unlimited supply of forestry waste , that`s where some solutions to forest fire are becoming desperate , that`s where these sites can be constructed at rapid speed ...etc....etc.....
I would say : Watch that space !

I know the sp is ~ today ~ a little disappointing , but sadly this once excellent thread has become seriously depressing (with apologies to the obvious notable valued exceptions ).
A few weeks ago people were moaning that they were unable to buy the placing at 1.50p , now we have to tolerate the moans of : `Why did I buy it` , `This is a con job`, `I`ve taken a big hit`, `DP promised me X/Y/Z ` , `Will I ever get my money back ?`
How sad , that half a dozen totally disingenuous posters with an obvious destructive agenda , can be such a potential influence on investors in this Company who `Should` know better .
This is a fledgling development Company , raising funds to further development comes with the territory , the consequences are ( quite normally.) a volatile share price ~ often very volatile . Many of the reasons for this sort of volatility are specifically related to the finance Companies who facilitate the funds to develop the business . This is how their business operates profitably . It has nothing to do with EQT and we need them to provide finance arrangements .
There will always be `Churn` , pre and post placings , but , assuming the business case is sound and well managed the business will advance along with it`s market cap . which brings me to the point I want to make :
Focusing on dilution , some people conveniently forget that EQT now has an additional 16 million GBP to develop and advance it`s well proven , exciting development strategy and unique , in demand product offering . It`s not going to happen overnight but there are many clear indications that it is `On Track` and certainly by the end of this year I would anticipate proof in support of a much increased market cap .
`Get rich quick` and investors who are overexposed or impatient are likely to , or indeed have already , moved on .
Looking beyond this year end is impossible to predict , but for my money , I can`t find a more exciting opportunity anywhere on the Markets .
I predict a serious bounce back above the placing price within weeks ~ but that`s just my opinion and I would urge any investor to do their research with much more than a glance at headline claims of strawberry jam , OR , spurious claims of imminent failure by transparent de-rampers with an obvious agenda .

Funny how the destructive doubters always turn up on a bit of `RED` meat day .

From my AIM watch list of 126. Companies today : 14 are up , 44 are neutral , and everything else is down .Specifically there has recently been a complete lack of interest in `Green `stocks . The `Sell the News` brigade always seem to turn up , but perhaps an unfortunate day to release news .
Looking at the EQT chart , I wonder it we are destined to hit the same 1.25 price point achieved in February ? Only a few dips away , but we then had a strong recovery to 2.25p .
Perhaps just come back on St Ledgers day ( 11th September.)
Who knows , Aim is a very mysterious market place .
It`s certainly been disappointing so far this year , but are not yet into the second half and undoubtedly there will be much news in the coming six months and beyond .
I understand that people may wish to sell for all sorts of reasons , but , No way is EQT some AIM basket case .
I think USA developments during the next few months may raise a few eyebrows !

Very interesting comprehensive analysis , certainly I would rather see them take a cautious approach to ensure they get the well construction right , than a rush for production .

The disappointment in the air is palpable , I get that .
However I would encourage investors not to panic and not to lose faith . Take a look at the price points in mid March where we touched 1.25 and within a couple of weeks we shot back up to 2.25 . I imagine that the market got wind of the placing in April and since then there has been a steady drift Southward. There are probably some very nervous / over exposed / inexperienced / poorly researched investors here (and of course one dishonourable trouble maker) I get that too .
However , I would advise not to be be too alarmed , this is exactly how this strange illogical AIM market so often behaves .
Perhaps we will touch 1.25 again , but the second any of this tardy (?) pent up news drops , this share price will most certainly shoot up .
The pipe line of projects is breathtaking ! Just do a little more research into the North Fork project , look at the photographic progress , definitive evidence of proof of concept , we should be operational here by the year end .
The proximity of positive news is as palpable as the nervousness of a few investors .
Keep the faith Guys , this will be a very different situation well before the year end when I`m sure disappointment will turn to elation !

Huge areas of hardwood forest in the state of Virginia USA are being chainsawed to create 'biomass' energy in Britain as the government attempts to reach targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in efforts to tackle climate change.
A key part of government efforts to hit its green energy targets is to switch from generating electricity from burning coal to burning wood - or so-called biomass. It’s a policy that is costing taxpayers more than £700 million per year through a levy on their electricity bills .
The biomass industry and government argue that because wood is a renewable source of energy and trees can be replanted to reabsorb carbon dioxide this policy is good for the environment.
Errr ~~~ I hope we`ve moved on a few steps in the last couple of years .
* Think of the Environmental cost of transport to the UK .
* Hardwood forest is not readily renewable .
* ~~~ AND ~ Surely we can`t have the French continually threatening to disrupt or power supplies !

Let`s hope that the Government has got to grips with reality here . Perhaps someone needs to give them a nudge and remind them that processing our own WASTE to generate power is a Win Win , and EQT have the answer !
BTW ~~~ North Fork is a different proposition . Forestry waste in California is renewable and it is absolutely essential to clear the forest floor there to reduce the incidence of these horrific West Coast fires .

However , thinking more seriously about this issue , I have this opinion to offer :
I think North Fork just has to be priority #1 .
* Construction is well advanced .
* Funds available for EOY completion / operation (?) .
* This will provide proof of concept and performance capability to the world`s biggest market .
* This market has both the biggest needs , the biggest feedstuff resource AND the biggest financial resource for investment , expansion and organic growth .
* North Fork `Could` be generating very significant profits next year ~~~ ie; In just over six months !
Priority #2 :
This just has to be Billingham . This is the cornerstone for expansion across the UK and they need to move on development as quickly as possible . The Government`s support for Green Tech has only been defined in outline and I hope that EQT will attract specific support , certainly Billingham will be an inspirational demonstration to Councils across the Country to take a more proactive approach to their escalating waste problems . The public will become more aware of these issues and more demanding of solutions ( especially of one with an economic benefit )Also , we may no longer be able to send our waste overseas to recreate the problem for a third world Country that has zero resource to deal with it .
Priority #3:
I think Deeside , for all the reasons above , plus this unique and interesting collaboration with Toyota .
Priority #4 /5 /6 /etc
They have to start to close these outstanding issues .
And finally ~ Which probably should have been priority #1 ~ We DO need transparency and subsequent closure regarding our proposed partnership or JV . If not with Wood Grp , then with A N Other ~ ASAP .
That issue has dragged on long enough .
