RE: 2021 MRE26 Sep 2021 12:09
Continued
An additional but potentially POSITIVE complication is this:
On 8.1.19, the MRE was reported as 951,000 ounces. The same report also stated that there was an additional 441,000 ounces in the unclassified or exploration category. There was no mention of the unclassified material in the 2020 MRE however it seems to me that there is no way that ALL the 441,000 ounces could have been utilised in the denser drilling required to move 951,000 ounces to 1,015,000 ounces; a difference of 64,000 ounces.
As such, it seems likely that we do have considerable unclassified material ‘in the bank’, AND step out during this campaign must have added to the figure. In other words, we will have lost some, but gained some.
I appreciate there is a level of vagueness here, however I fancy it all adds to the excitement. Well, it does for me in any event!
So finally, based on the above, I believe that the 2021 MRE figures will be somewhere in the region of:
1,200,000 ounces Indicated.
326,000 ounces Inferred.
(For MRE of circa 1,526,000 ounces)
Plus:
500,000 ounces in the Unclassified or exploration category, for an all-in figure of 2,026,000 ounces.
AND REMEMBER: Bill Humphries was at pains, in interviews, to point out that the Unclassified material, albeit outside the MRE, was important and a figure that would be taken into account by interested third parties.
Additionally, don’t forget, Chris Cooper, the Landore Consultant Geologist, is convinced that the Bam style repeats in ‘pods’ from the Bam, through Felix and Boras, to Lamaune and beyond for 4 million ounces PLUS. Majors are looking for ‘just’ 2 million!!
And finally, Felix drilling commences mid October. Felix begins just 100 metres to the west of the B4-7 Nickel deposit so, if all goes according to plan, expect bi-metal results once the first drill assays appear in November or December.
Exciting times.
