@MrSoft thats unbelievable I can see many claims being made against lloyds if the assets are not recoverable due to beneficiaries having died or even passed on assets to other parties , massive screw up , even if it is low hundreds { which I doubt } that they have admitted to , I wonder if its just us its happened to . @ avocet its only 62% effective with 2 full doses , but over 90% effective with a half dose followed by a full dose , not sure why buthats the news I have seen GLA

@Impecunious2 great point about SD buying shares with his own money that would indeed be a notice of intent , would give us all confidence that he is here for the long run and is aligned with us shareholders

so I see the AZ Vacc news followed by the reinstatement of dividend news being the main catalyst for moving this share up , as I believe Brexit news is not good enough for financial sector and also banks have a plan already , certain areas of the economy are doing well , we need to get the rest of the economy moving so that confidence can return amongst the lower paid workforce as these are the ones that spend the most in products and holidays etc.GLA

@Spreadtrader I agree with your comment , I recently saw an interview wit Barclays ceo and he said as soon as Brexit vote was known that the board sat down to discuss the various outcomes including no deal so yes the banks , have plans in place I'm sure for all eventualities GLA

@Invest2Progress I was not suggesting IAG would get to £6,71 I was just saying your all time high was incorrect according to the LSE chart , @6,71 that would be a market cap of 33b and there is no way the are, or will ,in near future be valued at that in my opinion . GLA

just looked at the chart on this site {LSE}and the highest price this year was indeed £6,71 in pre rights issue price . GLA

hi all , if the sp has a big rise over the next 2 weeks or so , would that not confirm investors are overall happy with the future regarding the deal BOJO has struck with EU, and vice versa if sp just trades flat or falls from present position , maybe a simplistic view but having watched and read many people trying to guess where the sp will be at any given date or time shows that none of us has a clue really where it will be imho ,gla

Robbtw thanks for that I actually hold a few hundred and was actually going to buy some more as they have dipped a bit since last divi payment , I shall have a look to see if Tesco have announced anything on rules regarding special dividend . GOOD LUCK
