sorry if this is a stupid question , so if IAG are going to buy europa and pay for them with shares , where are the shares coming from , are they issuing new shares which would be more dilution surely , or, are they buying back shares to pass on to europa , thanks in advance for sensible answers

Hi agree its all about timing in this game sometimes I get it right , other times wrong but holding these shares for the medium term is looking good

@ TradingPlaces omg I have a few of them so yes I better sell up too , when you find find a company totally debt free, great fundamentals , SP cheap as chips please let us all know , in the meantime I will keep an eye on IAG just in case . ATB

castle as you know markets are forward looking , and whilst I would not be so bold as to predict a price for the SP I certainly believe it could have the legs to get to £2 in the nearish future , quite possibly in the first quarter also the cash burn has been factored in , that seems obvious , furthermore we have had news on a vaccine and the markets shot up , even allowing for the fact that there are still concerns over the long term effects of the vaccine and whether the virus mutating will negate the vaccine . Time will tell , overall I believe its still positive

my guess is things may get back to normal by end of year , but as soon as things do start moving a bit more, and confidence returns then there will be a massive move on travel stocks , so I feel now is the time to pick up as many shares as possible as last week showed when things move its very quickly and none of us wants FOMO to come into play

hi all as I understand it according to a link previously posted retail investors hold 47% go shares with rest divided up by board and institutional investors of which one of them is hobs , I think it was simply Wall Street , but don't hold me to that , GLA

Robbyw I don't think the virus will actually go away , suspect we will have to learn to live with it in the end , and yes we have to gamble a little on the success of the vaccines as its not viable to lock down every few months but just hope the Pharma companies will be able to find a way to help all of the population , one other worry is if the virus mutates to a stage where the Pharma have to develop a newer vaccine , I personally have faith in their ability to come up with a solution , may take a while . Ideed interesting times

he does have a point about testing time , thats why it usually takes so long to get approval , a bit of a worry in all honesty if someone with his background is challenging the companies ethics , unless he has an axe to grind with the company ,but thats just conjecture

I can't see it dropping back to 1.35 either I think this is new range now , I was surprised though as I thought the vaccine news euphoria would have started to wane , but I guess that with moderna news coming out at the end of the coming week many investors are holding fire , great news for iag hope it continues

I use them, goes through in less than 5 mins but I only buy a few thou at a time maybe thats the reason

hi sunsurfer it did in fact touch 1,42 this afternoon I was tempted to buy a few but think it may go a little lower tomorrow due to people taking profits just my opinion

hi Herdie I only meant a correction in the short term but if I have to buy back in at a higher price then so be it , I see massive upside for the future , I was trying to be clever and use the profits to buy more shares at lower price , learnt my lesson but would be keen for it to be lower but only tomorrow lol GLA

Bull I echo that which is why I sold some of mine today , but I missed the best sell point though I'm expecting it to fall away in a few days once the euphoria settles down certainly hope I've called it right GLA
