hi autonomy regarding your article on £1 sell limit so they cannot borrow the shares , so if everyone did that would that mean the mm would not be able to suppress the sp at all or do they have other means of doing so , I ask because if the mm do not have other means to suppress then surely that would mean the sp would have to go up so as to entice people to sell ATB

TOM E if I was in that position I would just pass them out now asking each recipient to make arrangements to keep them safe for eg safety deposit box or similar and the I would say no more about it to anyone as long as the family are sensible how would the wrong people know about them if you get my meaning ATB

snige I never said I heard they won't give 2nd dose , just that I suspect they may not give it if it does not give more efficacy ATB

snige I fear the government is going to change that message too I saw a piece on tv where one of the Oxford scientists said that one dose is up to 70% effective and the second dose could be done up to three months from first dose , but I suspect the government will be happy to accept 70% efficacy therefore saving them money by not giving the second dose just my opinion ATB

HOLLYBEAN i am not disagreeing with what you say , its just response to how things have turned out regarding manufacturing , in light of recent events re Brexit I feel its time this country began to restart manufacturing , we should promote the uk in all fields not just the areas the governments want , one of our problems is we are not competitive enough on many items thats possibly due to greed of bosses or maybe workers not productive enough or infrastructure in plants not good enough may even be a combination of all three , personally would prefer to buy product from my own country and Europe for quality ,I try not to buy Chinese products as have had a few bad experiences with the rubbish they produce ATB

HOLLYBEAN regarding why don't we make anything here anymore I think the country gravitated towards the financial services as being a better earner of money than manufacturing , mainly I suspect the financial sector do not go on strike all the time or in fact ever , bit like the construction industry too , just my opinion of course ATB

JamesGGP, I just watched the link you posted, OMG , it beggars belief , I recommend everyone watch it, I will certainly show everyone I know the link to it , I think I shall watch it again , my head is spinning , I feel so concerned I am contemplating liquidating many of my other stocks to invest in pms , SPEEDIEMEEDIE has been saying we should be buying physical gold for as long as I have been on this BB and I have in fact been buying some of it , but in truth I have been buying it for the wrong reasons , I felt the POG will go up and I would make more money ,thats not the reason to buy the stuff though I have now learnt Also I now begin to understand why the POG is being suppressed .ATB

DOHNUTS I have a few FTSE shares couple of AIM shares and a few US AND EU shares to date 3 FTSE doing well 50% up EU shares down , 2 US shares 40% up and 3 US shares more than 200% up I have only been trading since march , think aim shares are risky but give the greatest reward if you have the time to keep a watch on them

Falkland when was it 70p plus last year ? I have not seen that on the chart ATB

Donuts yes I am in aim shares GGP is up for me at 48% and I missed the really big gains to date but hopeful things are still heading north ATB

I would love to see sp at 70p but can't see it this year and maybe never again , I think we would have to see the economy flying the FTSEwell over 7000 and rising to get people the confidence needed , personally I would be happy with 45p by the end of the year and holding it , also I only see a good vaccine roll out and a commitment to re instate dividends as a catalyst to push up the sp , just my opinion ATB

Walkersworld , yes many people would agree , personally I think it was a personality and confidence in her that was a problem with progression of any deal she brokered , also she was a remainer and people did not think her heart was in it , time will tell , who knows the uk may want to rejoin in 20, 30 ,years time , if the EU is still in one piece and running ATB

@Rosewall exactly my point , out there no one available , which is why I see no point in having a pop at the present government or indeed any government trying to negotiate all this mess , so many unknowns to cope with regarding covid , as for Brexit one country fighting against 20 odd countries was always going to be a tough ask for anyone . ATB

t4g I would like to say that BOJO probably has caused some discord with the general public over Brexit and covid but I would love to hear who would have done a better job this year of managing it , of course the deal is not perfect for all but thats a compromise for both sets of leaders , regarding covid the situation is fluid and constantly changing so policies do have to change due to changing situations , I hope you are not going to suggest the opposition party would have done a better job because I would pmsl as they couldn't even agree on a proper Brexit policy , and they would still be setting up committees to discuss and debate what to do next , so please try and think outside the box with your answer ATB
