when I first started out investing I actually subscribed to MF, and their monthly recommendations are not so contradictory I did in fact buy 3 of their recommendations of the three 2 are up and 1 down , but to be fair even I eventually made money on my stocks last year , I would not subscribe again as I thought they tended to recommend high value stocks and US based , I think you get a better feel for a stock on this BB than the MF people

yes the M C of Tesla is staggering for what they produce , I think fundamentals have gone out the window , its based on sentiment and foam imo

Theosus you seem to be far ahead of me on the green subject , I will have a look at some of the other areas related to them as I see the whole green subject is going to really take off , 620 miles per charge ,wow , I didn't know that , I wish lloyds would have the same wow factor ATB

Theosus the green and ev route is definitely working well at the moment, plug power , fuel cell energy , Nio and of course Tesla are my biggest gains this last 3/4 months , just wish I had some serious money to invest in them , however I do watch them closely as I think their will be a big correction in the US markets ,

Does anyone know when the new CEO will be taking over? , also does anyone think he will be any better than the present one ?, I have read here that some posters believe the present CEO is a yes man for the government, and does anyone expect things to change with the new man ?. I for one certainly hope so , I know lloyds are no longer owned by the government in principle , but I suspect they still have strings attached behind the scenes

@Bully if you are right regarding the fact they can be brought in as an insider , would it be possible that swag results could be made available when Newcrest do their next quarterly results , especially if their are negotiations behind the scenes ATB

41.72% GGP but getting rid of some bubble stocks this week to add more , only going up this SP

I feel sure there will be a massive demand to get away late summer and winter breaks this year if we have managed to get lots of people vaccinated , however if the other countries are slow to roll out the vaccines ie US and Europe what sort of holiday or break will that be if half the venues in those countries are not fully opened ATB

hopefully the SP will break through and hold 38p today , although with the way the FTSE is heading again today I would like the SP to go even further ATB

castle you did indeed call 80p or thereabouts but at times you also called 50p as I remember ,and yes many of us bought sub £1 and have healthy profits to date , but please remember what you posted before , your reasons may be justified you feel , and you may feel you were giving balance to people like g wong but it did get a bit tiresome , glad to hear you are not as confrontational these days ATB

I was up at 3.30 am so I decided to check the arv sp it was up but looks like it dropped back by 6 am

I guess not, maybe tomorrow when markets open their may be some news on ECR share price , drilling results etc , but as today is a quiet day I couldnt see any harm in it , never mind I'm off now , so you should be able to discuss whatever you choose now ATB

socialist I get what you say about realising bigger profits etc , but the way I understand things to be is we, the shareholders get value now and not much later , not sure of your age, but many here are already at or near retirement age and some may not even live long enough to get the benefit of greater monetary gains to be had if GGP went it alone ATB

as you say mm do get the blame a lot but the fact is too many people question it , can you categorically deny it happens , if no then there is a possibility they do it , my thinking was if they can be stopped surely its good for the sp in the long run
