Joker99 sorry I have no idea , after last weeks fall I thought it would go to 156 , but it went to 140 instead , I know we got some news at weekend on possible full lockdown of flights in and out so that had an effect, I feel we need to know what the gov are going to do , at least their will be something to work with regarding predictions , I hope it goes up soon but think we will need a couple of days , as gov is making a decision tomorrow ATB

As I recall you said you would buy at 80p last year, and yes it did hit 89p , which you said that was pretty close to your prediction, yet you did not buy despite it being pretty close to your prediction . As far as I am aware it only touched 89p and went back to 90/92p , it then bounced around the 90's for a while but it did not go back to the 80's as far as I am aware . you will never buy this share as you will always move the goalposts , if the SP looks like it might get near your target price you will find further bad news to lower your target price , all the time knowing you will never buy this share , I suspect it's the same with RR. also once the SP does in fact start to rise , we will not see you on here just like last time ,

wam if you do not live in Uk how are you affected by the new variant , and why do you get so concerned by it ?

wam i don't believe any government would have come out of this crisis smelling of roses , the pandemic has been a massive jolt to all countries on both sides of the political divide , so bashing the tories or BJ is not even worth debating further ATB

allah4UK. of course the different variants will be a cause for concern , but is it not in the interest of Pharma to come up with a solution to new variants ? , as they are public companies and need to turn a profit , so even if a new variant comes out I'm confident the vaccines will be tweaked to combat them in the future , we cannot stay in lockdown forever sooner or later we have to try and get back to normal ATB

mararab. sorry for delay in posting I don't agree about the light at the end of tunnel being small , I think the situation is improving all the time , sure their will be hiccups along the way but I am confident for the future from the summer onwards , I am a glass half full or at least like to think so ATB

Mararab. we booked ours last May thinking the virus would be defeated, and to some degree it will be and is defeated , the positive from all this is that we can see the finish line and know things will improve , once holidays come back in force it will only be great news for airline stocks , I still see the SP being volatile for some time , which is great for traders , I see the SP bouncing around 150 to 170 for next few weeks as things stand ATB

My worry is that the UK will have a large % of population vaccinated , yet Europe will not due to slowness of vaccine roll out , and other delays in their supply chain , therefore making holidays in Europe not as great as they should be due to restrictions at the resorts , hopefully Europe will catch up with us , we are thinking of cancelling our holiday which is booked for May in Europe , its difficult because we have all been cooped up for so long , but would rather wait til their is more semblance of normality in Europe as I expect us to have in the near future ATB

wam , you may be right or even wrong time will tell , however 50% efficacy is not back to square one no matter what, 0% efficacy is back to square one , therefore the vaccines still have a measure of success at 50% , just saying imo

just been reading about this tax on here , aim not sure the Spanish gov would go after uk citizens if they travelled to Spain for the annual holiday if the uk citizen has not paid the FTT , surely its the brokers who have to collect and pay to the Spanish gov . For example if a uk citizen bought an item in uk or elsewhere which should have had VAT added to it the said gov would not go after the person who bought the item I believe the gov would go after the person selling as they should have added the tax in the first place , sorry if this has already been posted I have just read this for first time ATB
